Terrible and waste of money
This was boring and outdated. I feel it’s my duty to warn people not to fall for this scam. It was a massive waste of money! With so many other shows to see in Vegas, don’t waste your time on this one

So disappointed. Where did these one time high energy dyamos go? Their magic was once so stimulating and exciting. Magic you never saw before. Breath-taking, it was once the star of their show. Now? Their magic is reduced to trainer level magic. Penn is a slouth, he shuffles around the stage, killing time, trying to do what they once did...entertain.
They are just tired old guys. Penn has turned into a disheveled, exhausting, used up entertainer. He kept pimping his TV show where he and Teller sit and analyze how they can figure out how contestants' magic tricks are done. Perfect venue for them cause they can sit. Our seats were 2nd row from the stage cause we wanted the full effect of P & T.
Unfortunately, we got the affect alright.
SAVE YOUR MONEY. Go to a real magic show and spend lots less.

My son is a magician and did a show in Las Vegas and he was trated extremeley well by Penn and Teller and the staff.

Just AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL!!! AfterTeller with the rabbit in the shredder act was distasteful. We had enough and walked out!

I personally have never attended a Penn and Teller show nor do I watch them on TV but my mother-in-law loves them so of course it was a must watch while in Vegas. The prices were adequate for the time and space. The venue was clean, cool and spacious! They were quite fun and I have to say, I am now a fan. They do great tricks and yes, I know they are known for card tricks but they basically had a variety show. I would recommend the show for those who love magicians…

I highly recommend this show to anyone - magic enthusiast or not. Penn and Teller put on a wonderfully entertaining and interactive show. The audience has many opportunities to engage and participate with Penn and Teller. We laughed a lot and were amazed at the magic. Teller's sleight of hand magic is effortless, and Penn's memory skills are legendary!
Take the kids, grandparents, friends, or whoever! This is a show for everyone.

The most "low effort" I've ever seen.Maybe my expectations were too high for them but this show was really boring. Too slow, too much talking from Penn and not enough "magic". A trick is magical when u can't figure out how they did it but all of them were so predictible and plain obvious. I've been a fan for many years but this was a BIG disappointment.

As worn out as the Rio Hotel. These guys are mailing it in. Penn talks to much & they only do about 10 tricks

Really a second-rate act. It was low energy except for Penny’s level of anger. There really wasn’t much magic, and what they did wasn’t all that impressive. The jelly bean but didn’t even make sense.
Considering the price of the tickets, I was hoping to see something better. Really wish I’d spent the money on Biff the Magic Dragon or some other newer magician who I imagine would put in a lot more effort and provide much better entertainment. This was a tired show.

The Penn & Teller show was great - except, Penn kept using the name of Our Lord in a derogatory way, many times. As a Christian, I found it offensive. It wasn't necessary, nor did it enhance the experience, actually it did the opposite. It took the "shine" away from the show and how I felt about his performance. I would recommend Penn use other words that wouldn't offend anyone.

We have tickets for Penn & Teller in London in June. We were intending to stay overnight but won't be able to now. I am trying to work out how to travel to and from the show but would like to know how long the show is? Any one been to one of their shows in the UK yet who could let me know?

Yes, they even have specialty souvenir cups you can take home. You can drink in the theatre.

Tripadvisor reviews are about past experiences, not upcoming events. Go to the Rio Las Vegas hotel and casino official site and then click on entertainment or else enter Las Vegas shows and then search your desired show dstes. Penn and Teller have been at the Rio ever since concluding their BBC series and the venue is now named for them, so my guess is they are still going to be performing for a long time yet. the only caveat is that like anyone else they do take time off once in a while, tape a TV special, or take the show on the road. If you read through the previous reviews, one woman was quite upset because Penn and teller happened to not be performing during the week she flew to Vegas. Their schedule showed they were in the eastern United States and Canada at that time. I know because I checked when I planned my visit in November. Again, both the casino and the Vegas show calendar sites should show you when performances are scheduled. Also, look for discounts (Caesar's card, groupon, Vegas sites) so you don't have to pay full price. Be sure to arrive early enough to check out the mysterious bottle and enjoy the opening act ( a pianist and Penn himself playing bass). Since you are coming from so far, be sure to stay around after the show because they take pictures with anyone who wants and don't charge a fee for the privilege, unlike so many other stars. Enjoy the show!

We pre-booked and got Tix in the front row. I really wanted to be close, so I could watch the tricks.
It was well worth it and I left completely amazed (and got to go on stage for one if the tricks as well). Very well worth it.

Just your ticket. Arrive early, when doors open, there’s a preshow. You can go on stage and inspect some of the props.
