Es un lugar algo desastrado, algunas zonas cerradas y baños limpios pero anticuados. La atención es muy amable, comimos jambalaya (regular) y un chili dog (delicioso). No está mal.

due to a fire the saloon and restaurant next door are closed and the building fenced off as unsafe. They were working on it when we visited so hopefully it will again be open.

The facility had an explosion in the back portion of the building which has shut it down as it is unsafe. No indication as to when it might reopen. Some outside walls were shored up to hold things in place and make it safe to walk by.

We stopped in here the other day for lunch. The place was busy and service a little slow but not bad. Food was really good though. A nice menu to choose from and reasonable prices. I had a chicken club and it was really good. Wife had the BLT and she liked it well.
A neat bar-saloon-restaurant with charm. Will return the next time we are in town.

We had a large group of people for a formal dinner and it was absolutely terrible. The overall management of the event could not have been worse and the food was late, cold and ill prepared. The staff was not prepared four group and we had so many people that were disappointed. I would not recommend this venue for anything and most definitely not a larger party or any party for that matter. Stay away!!!!!!!

Ordered breakfast with 4 sausage links. Took one bite of a sausage and instantly tasted rotten meat!! Told the manager/waitress and she brought me bacon. Noticed others also not eating the sausage. Talked to manager again about the rotten sausage but she insisted it was "fresh & fine."
I paid for the lousy breakfast but then called the Nevada State Health Department to report the issue after I got sick 30 minutes after eating!
Don't eat here!

It has been a tradition to have breakfast at the Delta Saloon every year during Street Vibrations in Reno but NEVER AGAIN. We arrived right at opening time and ordered breakfast. My wife and our friend ordered link sausage with their breakfast and my wife shared her sausage with me. I took one bite of the sausage and realized right away that it was obviously rotten and told the rest to not eat it. We told the waitress who happened to also be the manager and though she offered us bacon cooked on the same grill we were Leary of it also. Two other customers agreed with us that the sausage had gone bad and was rank tasting. We told the waitress that we noticed they were still serving the sausage and were told that we were wrong and that they checked with the cook and owners and the sausage was fine. (I should have asked to see them eat one so we could see if they really trusted it).
We really couldn’t understand why they would continue to serve it since several of us had complained. We were also told that no one else had complained. There is absolutely no way this pork was OK to eat. Before we even got the check two of us got sick to our stomachs and went to the bathrooms to vomit and soon after we both got diarrhea that lasted most of the day along with nausea. Our friend happens to be an RN and confirmed to them that they shouldn’t be serving the sausage but we were scoffed at like we didn’t know the difference. This was really rotten stuff but we paid the bill and will NEVER COME BACK.
These people told us we were wrong and didn’t even offer to take the price off the ticket. So, well! This shows that the customer is never right and the manager was very indignant about our claims as she dismissed them like she thought we were stupid.
NEVER GO THERE. WE COULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!

Nice size dining area, but the service was very slow & sparse. Breakfast was delicious except for the cold hard butter provided for the 2 yummy waffles. The butter didn’t smear in so it just ripped up the waffles. Good side portions, small menu, long wait for a table even though the dining room was only 1:2 full. Staff was slow to take our orders, slow to bring our food and slow to return for coffee or water and seemed rushed and although they weren’t rude they also weren’t very friendly .

Today, 8/4/18, four of us went here for lunch. The hostess had us waiting in line for 30 minutes with 10 empty tables. Once we were finally seated we were only attended to by a very nice waitress, but not once did any other person offer us refills on drinks. We watched several groups of people wanting to eat stand for no less than 30 minutes in line with empty tables. Their hostess is very incompetent when it comes to how to run an efficent dinning area. She was rude to an elderly couple that the women needed a chair as she was having trouble standing there. The women's restroom was blocked off and out of order. The food was decent and our waitress was doing her best with no help from anyone. Two bus people/servers did nothing in the form of helping customers and seemed to only know one pace, dead slow, not once offering customers refills on water/drinks, standing by the doorway to their soda fountain room talking one another ignoring everyone. Overall if it is a bust weekend at VC I would avoid the Delta as a place to have a meal.

This place used to be so fun, then a new owner came and the slots disappeared. The food is pretty good, but not worth a drive to Virginia City just for lunch!!

is this place and the rest of virginia city open during winter? is it accessible? ive been there before in the summer, but it seems to be at a high elevation.

It is opened in the winter. I believe it is quiet compared to summer. I have been there in the winter and most things were opened when we we there.

I did not know anything about the new management, but the food was good, service was slow because one of the waitresses called out, and one waiter was on his break I guess. So the poor little gal who was left was running around like a whirlwind. But we loved the place, we loved the museum stuff in the back, we loved the gift store next to it. I would go back especially when there is live music.
