We ordered tickets and chose our seats online ahead of arrival so we knew that we had five seats together. There is drop off, and two parking areas. The foyer is bright, open, and there's a small arcade, and some tables with chairs. Concessions include assorted combo deals that include pizza, nachos, hotdogs, and more. The restrooms were clean. Comfortable seating in recliners with cup holders.

Inside the building, the lobby was much larger than expected.
There were several concession counters. Ticketing was done at the concessions. Surprisingly, because this was a holiday weekend and the local initial screenings of a much-anticipated movie, there was no waiting in line. I got my ticket at $11.25 for the 2:00 PM screening of “Top Gun: Maverick.” I got to pick my seat. I took B8.
Once I had my ticket, I went into Theater 8 and took my seat. The theater featured very comfortable king-size recliner seats with just about infinitely-adjustable settings for the back, seat, and padded footrests.
A video by the Dept. of the U.S. Navy preceded the movie. In it, the U.S. Navy endorsed the movie.
There were seemingly-endless previews of coming attractions and commercials and ads for all the goodies available at the concession stand. The actual movie started 2:20 PM.
The basic story line was: Pete "Maverick" Mitchell (Tom Cruise) is an elite test pilot. Admiral Tom “Iceman” Kazansky (Val Kilmer, his former rival who has become his close friend, assigns him to a dangerous mission to destroy a nuclear facility in Iran before it is stocked with nuclear material.; but, first he has to train the group of young Top Gun pilots who will participate in the mission with him. Before they finish training and leave, Iceman dies, and they all attend his funeral. hen, they go on the mission. It’s a success, but not without some complications and dogfights with the Iranian fighter pilots. On the mission, Maverick and Rooster, the son of Goose who blames Maverick for his father’s fatal crash, make peace and bond.
I thought that the movie was well-written, well-filmed, and well-acted. It was certainly a high-adventure movie that was action-packed. It was a bit loud during the action scenes with the jets.
I had just one problem with the movie: the fact that the screen writers killed off Iceman. It just seemed so very out of character for Iceman, the perfectionist.
The theater itself was very comfortable. It would be hard to get such seating at home without spending a small fortune.
I rate my overall experience at Regal Fox Run at 4.50.

We bought our tickets online to avoid the lines at the theater .... and paid extra for the "privilege". We got to the theater and had to stand in an unbelievably long line at the concession stand. Not only behind other popcorn lovers .... but behind people who were buying their tickets, because the ticket counter has been eliminated and now you buy your tickets at the concession stand!! This process slows everything down because ticket buyers have to take the time to pick their seats, pay for their tickets and then buy their popcorn, etc. ... while we who already have our tickets have to wait behind them!!! So frustrating!!! Who came up with this genius idea! I don't like it. We'll be skipping the concession stand from now on, just to avoid this problem. There go the profits!!

They need to check ages of young people,Rated R movies are not for underaged....rated for a reason Some (most) young teens do not need to be seeing this kind of stuff. Even with a parent! Hope your business accountable.

I love this theatre! Very comfortable seats, and they often show old movies that are returning to theatres for special limited-time showings.

Love the place! You get to pick out the seat when you buy a ticket. Comfortable, reclining seats. You can buy a ticket and reserve a seat online. That costs a little extra but well worth if you are going at a busy time. The place is clean and the staff has always been friendly. They do give senior discounts when you buy in person.

The big recliners are very comfortable. I like the upgraded seating. Some of the theaters are very far from the restrooms. If you can’t wait to go, you miss a big chunk of the movie. It is often sold out and you have to pay an extra fee-$3.50 for 2 tickets- in order to reserve seats.

Growing up in the 1950s-1970s, going to the movies was always a wonderful treat - an event everyone in the family enjoyed! Whether being scared to death by the brooms in "Fantasia" or sharing in the group gasp when the rolls in "Jaws", movies hold a special place in my life! When the Regal theater at Fox Run modernized the space to reduce the number of seats to accommodate the concept of comfort while watching a movie, they made a great decision! Having a beer or a glass of wine and sitting back in a sumptuous leather chair with your feet up is about the best way to see a film! Regal Theater is certainly my choice when seeing movies in the Portsmouth area!

Because of the extremely slow and incomprehensible ticketing process--- line up at the one open window, buy your ticket and select your seat-- we missed our show despite being 15 minutes early. In the time we waited, 20 minutes, only 3 couples bought tickets, the line was at least 10 people long. Using that math, we should have gotten on line last night for the 12:10 pm show today.
Several people left when we did, all complaining about the impossibly slow lines.
Never again for us.

Nice reclining seats, screen seemed a bit small, sound system seemed fine. The usual limited menu and no good places nearby to walk to eat.
