Beautiful Gardens
aug. 2021
These gardens are quite spectacular. Lots of roses and other flowers, a beautiful conservatory and a Japanese garden. The color and flower combinations are beautiful and the gardens as a whole are perfectly manicured. An amazing variety of roses and dahlias, along with many other kinds of flowers. Flowers are labeled. One of the nicest stops we made in the Hampton area. We loved it.

Beautiful gardens
jul. 2021
We came mid July and there were very few roses in bloom but the dahlias made up for it. Spectacular blooms. The greenhouse has the most extraordinary collection of succulents.

Lovely gardens

So many beautiful flowers! Came in early June so roses, rhododendron, azaleas and peonies were in bloom. Well worth the visit even if a little out of your way.

Beautiful Fuller Gardens Has Something For Everyone
aug. 2020
I've lived in New England all my life and had never heard of Fuller Gardens until recently. It's a beautiful formal garden (actually a few different gardens on one estate) with a very interesting history. We visited in late August, mainly to see the dahlias, but there were lots of late summer roses in bloom. Everything was amazing! The grounds are pristine with statuary here and there. There is the formal rose garden with pathways wide enough to accommodate a mobility scooter. There is also a Japanese garden (across a small pathway) that is a nice shady respite from the hot summer sun. Lots more to see, best not to spoil it by printing it all here. Just go - it's worth it.

Lovely gardens
aug. 2020
We got free tickets but it would have been worth the $9 charge. Tons of roses, a collection of dahlias, a Japanese garden, and an English garden. In the greenhouse, there were succulents, ferns, exotics and the biggest staghorn fern I have ever seen. Only complaint was the weed wacker wielding Gardner that seemed to be following us around. Maybe don't go at 10:30 on a Thursday. They don't open until 10:00 so wonder why he couldn't have done the noisy garden work earlier,

Lovely Small Garden
okt. 2019
I visited the gardens in October when the best of the blooming season was over but was able to see a few remnants of roses and some other flowers. The gardens are pretty small compared to botanic gardens and arboretums (guess that's why it's simply called a "garden") but it's well laid out and the greenery was still beautiful. The greenhouse with cacti was really interesting with lots of varieties. There were also lots of monarch butterflies flying around. There's a picturesque church across the street and if you drive through the small neighborhood you'll see some impressive houses. Totally worth a stop on your trip and it's very easy to find. Not a ton of parking but probably adequate during the busy season.

Not sure my photos compare to what's already here, especially since it was really overcast the day I went, but I've included a few that are different.

Don't miss the conservatory greenhouse
aug. 2019
This is a fabulous garden broken up into separate plantings like the Japanese garden with koi, rose gardens, hostas plantings and a fabulous conservatory with orchids and huge succulents and cacti.

Garden Club trip
jun. 2019 • Venner
In spite of the fact that the legendary roses we hoped to see are blooming later than usual this year, 21 of our garden club's members thoroughly enjoyed this lovely garden. Everything is meticulously maintained, the staff friendly and helpful, the roses that were in bloom were exquisite and the succulents in the glass house were fabulous. Well worth the 90 minute drive...

Loved it!

We went to this garden with our son and daughter-in-law. I had read that it was small and when we arrived and went in, I thought it would only take us a short time. This garden has a lot more to it than it first appears. There is a wonderful green house full of interesting and unique succulents. Also a Japanese garden. This was totally worth going to.
