As I pulled into Jenness Farm’s parking area, I spotted two peacocks on the porch railing and knew it was going to be a fun adventure with farm animals and birds. I got out the camera.

Chickens and roosters were strutting around in the parking lot. I got a few photos of them. There was one big speckled chicken that waddled like a duck.

Then, I photographed some of the goats in the pen that was right in front of the parking area.

At a distance, there was a horse in its enclosed area.

Inside, I talked to the owner for awhile.

Then, I shopped my way through the three rooms full of wonderful, fragrant merchandise.

About 10 minutes into my browsing, another woman came in. She was soon followed by three more people. Those three appeared to be were repeat customers. I liked seeing other people supporting a local business, especially after what so many had been through in the months since the COVID-19 shutdown in March.

One of the showcased items in the main room was the lip balm. There were about two dozen varieties in conventional and unusual flavors as well as a neutral herbal blend. The lip balms won New Hampshire Magazine’s Best of Lip Balm Award.

There were collections of products for babies, children, and adults that included everything from soaps and shampoos to body lotion, hand cream, face cream, and cuticle cream, plus buttermilk bath salts, deodorants, essential oils, and even soy candles.

There were also fingernail brushes, wooden soap dishes, loofah sponges, and other bath accessories.

In the middle room, there was a child's table with some activity item to amuse a child while a parent shopped.

I got two Lemongrass & Sage Goat Milk Soaps and a Green Clover & Aloe Goat Milk Soap at $5.50 each, plus three small muslin bags at $1.00 each that I planned to fill with potpourri to make drawer sachets.

Everything was high quality.

As I headed for my car, a rooster walked alongside me.

Between the shopping and the up-close interaction with the farm animals, it was a very pleasant experience.

I rate my visit to Jenness Farm at 5.0 and highly recommend a visit.

Love taking my little guys here to visit and feed the goats. They also have a super cute retail shop filled with all sorts of great locally made goodies! Well worth the visit!

Since I started using goat milk soap exclusively 3 years ago I’ve tried a handful of products from different places. Without exception Jenness Farm offers the best soaps. Long lasting and leaves my skin feeling fresh and healthy!

Yoga with goats is something my daughter wanted to do. I can see why. It was fun breathing and stretching with goat shenanigans going on all around you. The staff is caring and committed and it was fun to relax, spend time with the animals, and laugh with my daughter.

Definitely the best family activity in a long time-Goat Yoga!
It was sweet, funny and memorable for everyone. Peter the owner could not have been nicer. The yoga instructor, Heather, was a wonderful teacher!!! If I lived closer, I would definitely attend her ‘regular’ yoga classes.
Topped off the excellent hour class with some homemade goat soaps and ice cold Blueberry soda in their store.
Simply perfect. We will be back!

I took my daughter's because they are into soaps and creams. We all loved the animals outside! Inside we saw the baby goats who "do yoga." Although we didn't participate in the yoga, a few gals were leaving from a session. They said it was wonderful and fun
The girls had a hard time choosing which flavors of soaps and cream they wanted. Amazed with the selection.
The place is great, people friendly, and products lovely.

This is a small goat farm that also has other "adopted" animals - even a pair of peacocks. When you first pull up, you will see the goats outside in their pen. Walk around the pen and into the barn to see younger goats as well as those getting ready to give birth. The best part, by far, happens inside the store. Here they sell an amazing variety of goat milk products, but it is also where the tiny baby goats are. They have free reign of the store along with Juno the dog. I could watch them hop and jump around all day. The highlight was bottle feeding the babies. A wonderful peaceful experience for both the toddlers and the adults.

Peter (owner) loves his animals! Besides the goats, all the animals at this farm are rescue animals. The chickens are all free range, so sometimes there are eggs for sale.
The latest thing here is 'yoga with goats' - do a youtube or google search - tv stations from the area and around the world are covering this!
If you're traveling through the area (just off route 202/4 between Concord and Portsmouth), stop in and visit/feed the goats and buy a few things in the small store.
