When in the area always a must visit.The fall months are quieter than summer which we prefer just wish more businesses were open this fall was great weather wise:)

We have been going to Weirs beach for years,we go for a few hours to take in the scenery an recharge the batteries. It is a awesome place to be.

This beach and boardwalk reminded me of a Brighton Beach/Jersey Shore situation. The houses (hotels?) along the strip all look rundown, the boardwalk wasn't appealing. I guess it's good if you have kids. We left and drove around to Wolfeboro which was much more our speed.

I have vacationed all over and I have never stayed at a more Rundown timeshare Resort. Extremely dirty condo and less than helpful staff. Came back from shopping and my toilet seat was up. Now mind you there was only females stay in there. I have never stayed in such a dirty place

This small man-made beach is close to bars/restaurants. Get there early if you want a good spot since it's so small

Plenty of sunshine, even plenty of shade to sit under. I think the best part was being in the water when the Mount Washington came into dock. It was almost magical.

Weirs Beach reminded me of Old Orchard Beach in Maine - something that was probably a big deal years ago but not much to see now. A few old shops with cheap merchandise (tourist junk) tshirts, towels, etc. Lots and lots of arcade action in this town! The boardwalk is lovely, clean and modern looking. Nice for a walk, watching the water action, boats coming in and out, etc. Lots of parking for about $2 an hour and time limits. Best view is a big outfit on the pier where you order your food and sit at a picnic table and wait for them to bring it out. Food was okay. Full bar. Great views. Very laid back. Also has the feel of being something exciting once upon a time - and you have to walk through another arcade to get to it!

If there was an option for a zero rating, that would sum up Weirs Beach as a location. Apart from the waterfront views and the train, everything was tacky, biased and old school. My party and I, had attempted to have lunch at the Crazy Gringo but were ignored by staff. We then tried to seek service at the neighboring eatery, the Tower Hill Tavern, and we were also ignored. While we were heading to our vehicle, we were insulted by a random, disrespectful man, who we didn’t even interact with.

Wonderful, sandy beach with both shade and sun. Smooth entry into lake. Good sized parking lot. Close to Winnepesaukee Pier.

While the water was beautiful, the beach is small and just feels dirty. The water is only waist level in the roped off area, making swimming difficult. The street is extremely busy and right beside the beach, eliminating the relaxation factor.

Are there public restrooms at this beach?

Yes there are! There’s toilets on one side and changing rooms on the other. There are no showers though.

Yes it does. The last time I went it was $10.00. There is parking along the boulevard but you need to pat the meter

Some very few beaches allow grills that I know of. Some use to allow tailgating but I would check online to see what beaches you are interested in

you can bring a leashed dog on the boardwalk anytime. lifegaurds on duty will not allow dogs on public beach area. if there are no lifegaurds dogs are on beach although they are technically not supposed to be, no one enforces thatrule if lifeguards are not there.
here's a tip if your dog has all shots including kennel cough (and proof of it) bring to doggie daycare at the Four Paws Inn in Meredith they are awesome my dog loves it there (603) 279-1197

I do not believe that they are allowed on the beach itself. You can walk them on a leash along the boardwalk.
