Sitting on the Pier have lunch with my best friend in the sunshine. Also taking some time to go to the beach. I am handicapped and walking to the water was a dream for me. The water was crystal clear, and the sand was soft as silk to walk on in the water.

We spend a relaxing few hours aboard this ship after boarding in Weirs Beach. It was a wonderful way to explore Lake Winnipesaukee and learn the history of the area. The lake is huge (largest in New Hampshire) with islands in it that people live on.
We had a couple of mimosas that were pretty good. The crew did a great job of announcing what we were seeing as we sailed along the lake.
It does get pretty chilly as you tour the lake so bring a jacket to fully enjoy the gorgeous views both along the coast line of the lake and the islands in the lake.
There is plenty of seating both inside and outside the ship.

Such a relaxing way to see the lake and simply enjoy the scenery. The ship was nice and had a bar and snacks along with restroom facilities. Plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating.

We sailed on the 2+ hour spirit cruise. We had a table on the top deck. We enjoyed the cruise of Lake Winnipesaukee and its islands. The staff from tickets and onboard were great. We enjoyed the beverage service and the narration during the trip. We relaxed and will definitely book again.

I debated between leaving 3 or 4 stars. Four won out because of the cruise itself and the staff; the food was a three at best. The boat was large and was not at all crowded. We were easily able to find a table outside on the deck. The brunch we had been anticipating all morning was a disappointment. Plain scrambled eggs (no cheese), bacon, sausage, "hash" (appeared to be leftover pot roast and potatoes chopped up but was actually pretty tasty), eggs Benedict and then oddly, chicken cacciatore. Also diced fruit (mostly under-ripe cantaloupe), a pasta salad and iceberg lettuce salad were offered. At the end of the buffet line there was a guy making fresh waffles, and even though I normally opt out on carbs, I tried one with the butterscotch syrup, which turned out to be my favorite food on the whole buffet. There was also a dessert table with a couple of different kinds of cake.
Besides the huge miss on the food, the cruise was great! Two hours of viewing beautiful islands and shorelines with people's dreamhouses. The weather was warm, a bit windy at times, but excellent for September. The staff was above and beyond for sure. Don always had a smile on his face as he cleared tables and assisted guests. In response to my husband's query for area history, he got Orion to come over with a map and show us the route we were taking and he shared info and answered our questions. Honestly, they should drop the food and the price and just offer the cruise. I'm sure they'd get 5 star reviews!

Big boat with a variety of seating options both outside and inside. Narrated tour with some interesting anecdotes. Snack bar with alcohol available. Beware the photographer before boarding! Tables with attached seats a little tight. Nice tourist area a t the location with meter parking. Relaxing interlude while on vacation.

The cruise description and menu description comes accross as a sit down dinner with decent meal, it was cafeteria boufet style and cafateria quality.
Appetizer described as having options,
Soup of the Day
Traditional Shrimp Cocktail
Wedge Salad iceberg lettuce, blue cheese crumble, tomato, cucumber, balsamic or ranch
(No appetizer was available tonight)
There was bagged style salad with cherry tomatos available
Herb Crusted Baked Haddock ritz cracker crumble, white wine butter sauce,
rice, vegetable medley - Overcooked....
Braised Short Rib ( not short rib, was pot roast) red wine reduction, ( Jarred Gravy is more like it) mashed potato, demi-glace (not a chance), vegetable medley
Vegan Pasta & Meatballs - not available, nor was there a meatless option, unless you conisder macaroni salad a viable option.

The dinner was okay; buffet style that included baked haddock (overcooked) and pot roast. There was a guy who played music on board. However, what worried me the most is that seating was not spaced sufficiently (less than 6 feet apart) and wearing masks was not enforced. So many people coughing and sneezing, some of them not covering their mouths. Some of the staff were wearing masks but others not. With COVID on the rise again, especially the delta variant, this made for a not very enjoyable cruise!

This has been on my bucket-list for a while now. My wife and myself decided to book a dinner cruise for the first time while staying up in Laconia. We got there 2 hours early and had no problem finding a parking spot. We walked around a bit before going to wait in line. Everything went smooth loading us onto the boat. We had great seats and a beautiful view. They announced that food was being served buffet style, which confused us seeing we were told it was a three course meal. Yes it was the appetizer we had an average salad which they plop on your plate with a glob of nasty dressing. For the main course we had beef short ribs, which were amazing, mased potatoes, which were not very good and sauteed vegetables, which were very good. For the dessert what seemed to be a cheap joke at creme brulee was actually vanilla pudding with roasted sugar on top. They also had diner rolls with butter to go with it all.
They had a bar with an untrained bartender who did not know what she was doing. We were served watered down drinks for $12 in plastic cups. After dinner there was entertainment with a DJ playing music which was nice. The sunset was beautiful to see and very relaxing to dance too. We paid for parking until 9:45pm and the boat was a bit late getting back to port. We got off just in time at 9:40pm and sprinted back to our car...lol
All in all it was a great experience and we're glad we did it. Would I do it again? Not sure unless they change the dinner to an actual three course meal being served to us and not a buffet style dinner, as well as hiring an actual bartender. It's something nice to do with your spouse or gf/bf for a romantic evening on the water.

The views of course were the best. The staff were so genuinely helpful and cheerful.
Dinner was very good. Music, dancing they have it all. I have been telling all my friends that it is a must do trip! The boardwalk there is fun to roam around as well. As a bonus for our trip there were fireworks on Weirs beach so that rounded it out nicely.

We were dressed casually in shorts and tshirts, but there were ladies there in dresses and men in dress slacks and button down shirts. There is no dress code, to my knowledge. So whatever you're comfortable in.

The above person, Americash, has it right on. If you take the 10am you can get off and shop at Wolfeboro, or stay on the ship to go back to Weirs Beach. It is the next ship that gets that there around 1:45 that takes you back. If you take the 12:30 ship from Weirs Beach, you can't get off as that is last ship. I May be wrong but I think the cruises you can get off at Wolfeboro is only on Sat and Sunday as those are the only 10:30 cruises. But check it out on their site under daytime cruises.

They have a Dinner Buffet which usually inludes a nice roast of beef and chicken I have gone before and had roast pork as well if you wanted that and lobster they have Lobster cruises June 30th and July 20th but the beach boy tribute on the 13th would be my choice even without the lobster :)
We are planning on going on the night cruise on July 13th 2018with another couple what will they be serving for food .We are celebrating our 50th Anniversary that day .
