Perfect day on the water and at the 3 wineries we visited.
Captain Jim was knowledgeable and added a lot of information relating to the area we traveled through between wineries. Smooth trip and lots of info!

Had a great time with another couple. Enjoyed a beautiful day on the lake on the spacious pontoon boat. Wine tastings were well-coordinated. Especially enjoyed The Thirsty Owl and lunch at the bistro there. Captain Jim kept us informed and laughing!

This is our second time do the cruise with Captain Jim. Highly recommend this trip. Captain Jim is very pleasant and knowledgeable about the area. He gave us ample time at each of the wineries. We were to have lunch at the Thirsty Owl but their wifi was down so they could not serve lunch. Captain Jim made a call to Long Point Winery and they were able to accommodate us for lunch. His boat is very clean and he is a very considerate driver. We love to hear his stories. He stays with the boat while his guests are at the wineries so you can leave your stuff on the boat knowing it is secure. Again we cannot say enough good things about our trip. We will do this trip again.

Very enjoyable! The first winery, Thirsty Owl was excellent. We were there for about two hours, and between an excellent lunch and wine tasting it went fast.
We spent about 90 minutes each at the other two wineries. We felt that that was too long. After all, how many wine tastings can you do? Capt Jim was great, but his salty language may put off some people.
Overall, very pleasant day

Captain Jim was incredible! He’s very knowledgeable of the area which meant several interesting stories on the history (which we love). He made sure we had a blast the entire time. His pontoon is in ship-shape with cozy seats. We would recommend him time and time again!! Thanks, Captain Jim :)

We took a wine tour with Captain Jim in mid-July of '23. I can't say enough about how great it was. We spent four days doing cool things in the Finger Lakes region, but the wine cruise is what we still talk about. Captain Jim's covered pontoon boat is luxurious -- like travelling in a classy living room, but still open to the cool lake air and views. At each destination, Captain Jim contacts the winery, which sends a vehicle to pick you up and take you the short ride up. The wineries are all very nice and different from each other, so you get a good variety. Again, this was such a great addition to our vacation, and one that I would definitely do again.

Great time. Beautiful lake, great wine. Captain Jim was entertaining and very knowledgeable. He catered to our tastes and interests as well. Outstanding boat captain as well. Highly recommended!

Captain Jim acquired a new vessel and it was fantastic. The weather was great and the captain was entertaining and informative.

What a fun day! We had a beautiful day sampling wine. This was the way to do it! So much fun! Captain Jim was a great captain. He pointed out several things on our way to the wineries. He also scheduled our tastings. He has a speaker that you can link your music app to. Always nice to have your own music. I was nervous about getting on and off the boat, but Captain Jim helps you. Great fun!

Coast Guard regulation limit the number of customers on the boat to six customers. This regulation applies to all boats built as pleasure boats and operating on Coast Guard regulated water ways.

Getting onto this boat and onto the docks requires pretty good balance and ambulation. People have to be able to step up and step down. A considerable amount of walking is also required from the docks to two of the wineries and back.
Whether a person with a cane can do it depends on the degree of the disability.
