Went here on a Friday morning and was blown away by the whole place!
I love David Hockney's pictures so the gallery was like an Aladdin's cave for me. The book/art /antique shops were amazing and I loved the way that books were displayed for easy browsing.
Unfortunately we didn't have enough time to look round so we will definitely be returning when we next come to Yorkshire.
Parking was free which was an unexpected bonus though signposting to the car park to indicate that it was free was fairly minimal.

It’s a lovely space to wander. We saw the David Hockney spring collection. Whilst not really a Hockney fan, the display was great and the bright collection beautifully contrasted against the somber rooms. Lovely coffee shop at the end. Salt Mill is a huge building, definitely worth walking around the outside and by the canal to appreciate this more.

it is free to enter and they have numerous gallerys and a good shop. Set in the old historic mill which is worth a visit in itself. There are some nice places to eat too.

Salts Mill was every bit as good as we remembered - excellent Hockney exhibition, interesting shops and pleasant cafe for refreshments.

Saltaire is a Unesco world heritage site and Salts Mill has been converted into an amazing and huge venue combining shops that sell rugs and wallpapers in the basement, the ground floor is a mixture of books on art and a vast gallery displaying the works of David Hockney. There’s an audivisual section with a history of the area and an Antique centre. On the first floor is an interesting bookshop, with homeware furniture and kitchen supplies, and more restaurants and galleries. So despite the grey weather it was is an enjoyable day out and we enjoy David Hockney’s work.

What a wonderful way to spend a wet breezy afternoon amongst, Hockney, art and hundreds of books.
Every time I visit I'm filled with happiness.
It is an absolute pleasure to meander around the books and pottery pieces. I am a big Hockney fan so I'm always thrilled to see his art work so freely displayed.
I could bleat on about it further but it is probably best to visit.

The sheer size of the mill is impressive enough but when you walk inside the main entrance and are greeted by the smell of fresh Lily’s and the sight of Hockney paintings love them or hate them the atmosphere is really wonderful. Whether you like art, books, good food, antiques or designer object there’s something to interest you.

A vast gallery displaying the works of David Hockney. I new little of him but have to say the paintings are impressive. I love the use of the gallery in this large warehouse complex.
