we had an amazing boat trip with johaness. we couldn't fault them, from start to finish they were amazing.
I did alot of research and spoke to alot of companies as we had 2 babies with us, so needed to make sure it was right.
Nathan the captain was amazing, he helped with the children, entertained them and was patient when we took abit more time we with things.
the booking process was clear and quick, I didnt feel ripped off, it was definitely worth every penny aa
would highly recommend 👌

We did the 5 islands, deer island, the waterfall, lighthouse island, snorkeling with lots of fish, blue bay and barbecue, and it was really great.
With Jonathan as captain, we had a superb, very diverse day.

We’ve just returned from a Diamond Princess Cruise around Malaya Thailand Vietnam and Singapore on a 14 day cruise.
The ship itself was well managed, clean and relatively easy to navigate your way around.
The staff in general were helpful courteous and friendly and helped make your experience enjoyable. Amalzhan and Carlos on level 14 pool deck were excellent and can’t thank them enough. Micheal our cabin attendant was absolutely amazing such a dedicated and efficient member of staff ensured our cabin was perfectly clean and well kept. There were 2 other members of the staff we’d like to thank one unfortunately I didn’t get her proper name but she worked alongside the bar attendants on level 14 I think her name was Nongpin ( I apologise if this is wrong) but she was quite but industriously went about her duties with quite efficient service and of course the lovely Erica also was brilliant, thanks to them all. The restaurant staff were always first class and very helpful and considerate to the customer needs.
Even though during the second week there was an outbreak of Castro related issues this can be attributed to poor personal hygiene on the part of a few selfish customers who were observed never washing their hands etc. unfortunately there’s nothing much to be carried out by the captain if customers indulge in such selfish behaviour, the crew did their best to limit the spread.
The ship was kept clean and the crew worked hard to try ensure everything was done to limit the spread.
If you’re planning to book a cruise it’s advised you pre book your restaurant reservations as disappointment will follow. We did and although all the five restaurants all followed the same menu the standard of food offering was very good. The buffet restaurant probably increased the range of offerings we avoided the chaos in this area as this was a hotbed of potential infections in our opinion. We only used this area to eat if we were booked on an excursion and once the outbreak of Castro infection was announced the staff served you your food. We choose to the use the international restaurant for breakfast as you were served and could relax as you might anticipate on a cruise holiday.
The ship was kept very cold and many bars and at times the theatre was uncomfortably cold and you welcomed the chance to go on deck to warm up.
The excursions themselves were very good but on one occasion because of bad weather the tender service was badly managed. Even though we’d paid over 100 dollars and got up very early they ignored pre booked passengers and went on first come first off principal which resulted in over a 2 hour wait to disembark and the trip cut short because of sailing times. We did take this up with customer service but nothing was ever feedback other than the weather had caused the problem, this wasn’t the issue. If you’ve paid a lot of money why are passengers who are only using the shuttle service taking to sure before those who have a paid a lot of money for a Princess organised trip?!
On another occasion we choose to use the shuttle service to what was described as a market at Saigon only to be dumped five miles away at a Vietnam style Asda with no guide or assistance miles from our anticipated destination and absolutely nothing to do or go. Very poorly described and delivered service which promoted much dismay and complaints by most of us dumped there.
Perhaps the most annoying aspect of the cruise (and we’re regular cruisers) was the entertainment. This was delivered by a self satisfied self serving team who were total beliefs of their capacity to deliver quality entertainment. When challenged they without exception stuck to their script of ‘we cater for a wide range of tastes and offer west end quality entertainment “ if that’s so why did we have 3 occasions in the theatre to walk out of a ballon making individual ( particularly when there were so few children on the ship) another so called act named same difference a pair of individuals best suited to children’s TV and another male and female ‘Bavarian’ style of individuals blowing plastic trumpets ? Mindlessly banal and insulting to one’s intelligence but if you questioned the standard the team in charge just read off script by saying the ‘we cater for all tastes’ maybe this might be true of a cheap holiday park holiday but hardly west end standard. Nothing will change with the self satisfied belief the middle managers and directors have in their delusional sense of capacity to provide quality entertainment. We were not alone in our opinions however if feedback is only used to maintain current standards and dismissal of criticism people will not come back to Princess Cruises.
Overall we enjoyed most aspects of the cruise and if the quality of entertainment was as described we definitely would book again with diamond princess but sadly we don’t have the confidence displayed by the cruise directors and staff share of what west end entertainment is. That said one particular show did step up and it’s definitely worth going to see Bravo this was quality and the band Voyagers we’re good also.

Una experiencia inolvidable, reservamos una excursión privada con una lancha rápida a la isla de los ciervos y fue genial, sobre todo la comida final en una isla impresionante. El patrón, Cris, nos llevo todo el viaje con un musicon muy bueno!

We had a recommendation from our taxi driver for this company and were really impressed. The pick up was efficient and the crew on board could not have done more. We were constantly offered beer, wine, cocktails and the lunch was simple but delicious grilled fish and chicken. The beaches were spectacular and we did a bit of snorkeling which whilst a bit unremarkable was enjoyable nonetheless. Great day and reasonable price!

Nous avons demandé un transfert à l'île aux Cerfs. On a d'abord poireauté 30 mn avant d'embarquer et nous sommes tombés en panne au milieu des 5 minutes de traversée. OK ça peut arriver, mais quand vous constatez que le pilote du bateau emmène 15 personnes et n'a même pas de téléphone pour demander de l'aide, on se demande quelle est la conception de la sécurité de cette boîte.

Super journée avec "Johannes" à bord du catamaran !
Excursion jusque l'Ile aux Cerfs. Boissons à volonté, barbecue à bord le midi. Excellent !
Nous nous sommes arrêtés sur la barrière de corail au cours de l'excursion. Avec nos masques et tubas nous avons pu admirer la faune et la flore marine.
Nous avons profité de la plage paradisiaque à l'île aux Cerfs. Point négatif : énormément de monde..
En fin de journée, nous avons enchaîné 3 activités : le parachute ascensionnel, la marche sous l'eau et la bouée tractée. C'était énorme !!!

We booked the private excursion and had Patrice and Suraj as the dynamic duo! It was an unforgettable experience as they made sure our family had a fabulous day celebrating our twin daughters' 16th birthday. Nothing was rushed - we just relaxed and enjoyed the day. The two highlights - the private delicious BBQ lunch with live music and feeding the monkeys from the speedboat at the waterfall.
I highly recommend the Johaness Group. They are professional and truly take care of their clients.

Hi there, we are staying at Flic and Flac and are looking for a Catamaran trip (actually a catamaran which also sails and not using only the engine)... what about transport to Trou d'eau Douce ? Do you offer facilities ?

We had a private trip, which I certainly would recommend. We were 2 adults and 3 kids as I remember well and paid 8000 rupee for the boat for the day. The BBQ was extra it depends if you take lobster or not, but I would recommend to do the BBQ.
