約３０年前にできたというダム湖。湖面はダークグリーンで綺麗ではない。ホテル街から近いがよほど時間が余っていない限りツアーに組み込む価値は無い。

The lake itself is beautiful, but the boat trip is really nothing special and is very short for what you pay. There is a nice waterfall to see.
If you have time to kill, check it out, but I wouldn't put it on the "must-see" list.

The trip on the lake is a nice activity for elders 60+ 70+ of age, but not for younger people. Apart from water and the same green rocks that can be better viewed in Zhangjiajie National Forest there is nothing to see.
HOWEVER, at just 50 m from the ticketing boot there is a magnificant waterfall, which made the trip worth the effort.

in compare to some other attractions of zhangjiajie park, this experience is not must to do. but the traditional songs performed by the guides make it nice.

Nice little tourist outing. Fairly short. Commentary entirely in Chinese. Guides are otherwise well rehearsed. Lake is pretty. Lots of steps entering and leaving

по озеру катают на лодке, очень живописные берега. В одном месте выходит девушка и поет национальную песню, в другом - парень. нам немного не повезло - шел мелкий дождик, но в общем все понравилось!

The lake is easy to find. Just a 15 min walk from Wulingyuan Main Street.
When entering the lake “park” there is a waterfall with a bridge you can climb. Afterwards there are busses that bring you to the lake (there is also a walking path but wouldn’t recommend it, very steep and path stops at one point). The boat ride is about 30 minutes and is quite scenic.
Entire activity is <2 hours.

It looks like a man made lake and took a lake cruise for 20 mins to go around and nothing spectacular! Skip if you want as there’s actually nothing to see if you see the rest of the forest park!

Um passeio de barco numa bela região. Só isto. SE vc tiver tempo sobrando, é uma boa opção. O passeio não é longo. É bom se sentar na beirada para conseguir boas fotos.

I read in one of the reviews that there is a walk around the lake that doesn't cost anything. Taking a right from the main entrance. Has anyone else done this walk? Any info on this? Thanks!

When you arrive, go past where you buy the tickets to where you get on a bus - there's a wooden sign with a map there which will show you where you can go. Didn't do it myself but the route is on there!

yes, you can take a walk to the boat instead of taking the bus, when you get inside the entrance, you will see a road for the shuttel bus, the walk way is on the rightside of the road. left is for bus, right is for walking tourists, have fence in the middle, then in the middle you have to aross the road keep climb to the mountain, then down to the lake.

We went there early mornings and it really rained all night, they just opened the boom gate - no water, no water noise or so very little did come down from that waterfall, but all over sudden like it was just switched on, here was the waterfall and the near empty creek bed also had all over sudden water in it. That all this water comes through a hole in the mountain to create a waterfall so suddenly and it comes naturally is a bit of a myth - or is it ?? We also noticed there is a gravel filter on the lakes water exit before the water enters the slightly hidden opening or cave to appear on the other side as the waterfall. It is nice, we liked it, very idyllic even mystic, worth the walk to go up there and looking around - even with the rain we had - but occurring natural ??? .......as nature has created ?? ....we id not buy that!

Dear Friends
We went up to Baofeng Lake and took a boat ride around the lake. It is a rare lake on the plane, surrounded by green mountains, with green water, and splendid lake scenes and landscapes. When we came down from Baofeng Lake, we went to Baofeng Flying Waterfall. The water comes through a hole in the mountain, cascading down the slope. The scenery created is beautiful.
