Parking fees are outrageous. $2.60 per hour, no free parking, not even a couple of small bays for motorbikes. Greedy parking ticket machine doesn't give change and charges $1.30 fee for credit cards (this inc debit cards) although what that fee is for is unclear.
I won't be going back, even though I'm a local and my taxes subsidize the operation of the pool which is otherwise excellent. Typical council stuff-up, to ruin an otherwise good business by being greedy.

Modern building with great pools. Has a canteen where you can grab a quick meal if you are waiting to pick someone up. Cool inside area, friendly lobby staff and life guards.

Actual pools seem fine, clean, warm enough, were pool noodles. Be prepared to pay parking, I would not be a regular or do lessons here and pay parking every time..esp when a pot hole around the corner from me is big enough to damage a car and 2 metres from road work.
Never paid so much parking since living here, if you are going to a paid business/attraction you should get some kind of free parking, even most car parks have 2 hours free. Unfortunately we were not prepared with a key card and getting change was difficult, parents of small children do not need that drama along with the added time to fill in tracing forms.
I don't know about anyone else but risking 45minutes and hoping you get away with a $60-80 fine is crazy to me, should either accept notes or have a change machine if free parking is too hard for the greedy council/government (there's usually a fee for cards at broadwater parklands too).
Maybe so many businesses would not be struggling if parking was not an issue; personally, I usually avoid places without convenient/free parking...lesson learned here...was only a consolation prize for children because theme parks shut at 4pm! Another note for non locals..everything seems to open later and shut earlier that other states and city's around Australia...do your research and don't assume anything!

So this place is great. Come here a few times a month. You can take esky in with food and drinks. You could stay here all day. There is an extra charge for the holiday activity- diving board(opens on weekends and school holidays ) inflatables. They are open till I think 3 pm. (Could be 2) different pools. Try the all find out your favourite. Staff are kind and friendly. Place is clean. Life Guards patrol the pools. Great day out. Family ticket with diving board and inflatable cost $33

Awesome pools, not busy, always room to enjoy without feeling overcrowded. Lawn area to catch some rays, kiosk to have a coffee or cold refreshments, overall its great to bring the kids or just swim a few laps.

I’m not a fitness-crazed person; I haven’t suddenly been given dire health warnings or made huge changes in my life.
I do drive past this pretty venue several times a week, and I was so proud of the way the area handled the crowds for all those big international events last year. I figured I should call in and see what’s on offer.
PARKING: parking machines are scattered throughout the car park. I paid using my rego number, and some coins; quite affordable for 90 mins I was there. If you’re a Centre member, you get a token to scan for free parking.
INSIDE: so many options! I don’t even know them all! Indoor and outdoor pools (all heated), kids’ pools, diving pools, at least one gym. All kinds of classes, for all ages and abilities - the outdoor pool I was in is wheelchair accessible and heated to 27 degreesC. I was in an Active & Healthy class (aquafit style); a lot of my group had also done the Deep Water exercise class for which they wear weights.
While our class was on, in another indoor pool there was a holiday class for parents and young children. Their very young brothers and sisters could wait in the crèche.
The change area is handy but I have to admit I didn’t use it (I came in my swimmers and dashed off wrapped in my towel).
The reception staff are very friendly and helpful. And the instructors are exceptionally patient, clear and supportive.
Cafe Catalina is so close that 2/3 of my class went straight there for coffee as soon as they’d dried off! I gather it’s a tradition ;)
I’ve been to a couple of classes now, and enjoyed each one. You might just want to come for a lovely swim with a beautiful view.
It’s top venue, and so accessible. Come and see for yourself!

This is a place we visit regularly.
Staff at front gate are friendly and welcoming.
Pool is clean and there is 4 outdoor pools 1 indoor pool. Kids love coming here. Sometimes they have diving boards open and inflatables at an extra cost. Not today though when we got here as we got here 3pm. Great for the whole family to have a dip.

While attending the ITU Gold Coast World Triathlon Championships at Surfer's Paradise I visited this excellent facility. It's definitely world class with a wide range of athletes honing their skills. International teams competing at the Championship got time slots for practice prior to the big event. No wonder Australians are so fast in the water! Excellent facility!

I have been attending this great Aquatic Centre since it opened some years ago....as a Swimming Technical Official . The cafe is the worst of any at the many venues throughout Australia,at which I officiate ....understaffed ,terrible slow service and very limited menu.In fairness ,their coffee is good . Really needs a shakeup to meet customer needs . The rest of the facility is well run and a great location
