Well marked paths around the park and down to the bays. Picnic tables. Big trees and big views. So close to the city, yet so far. Nice and peaceful so we will come back to spend more time here again!

The park seems to be fairly small but we only had about half an hour to spare so it was perfect. Walked the 5 minutes to the lookout point and sat on the rocks. We saw a group of sea otters and a group of sea lions! Such a beautiful view too. Worth a visit if you’re not too far!

This little park is a little hidden in the Nanoose area. The is an easy trail around the whole park. The highlight is a stunning little rocky bay with spectacular ocean views. Great place for a picnic.

A perfect place to stroll through, hike, picnic at the ocean bay, and see wild life - birds, whales, sea lions. Wonderful place to take children to explore and learn. Placid and relaxing.

Four of had a lovely walk around Moorecroft,a former campwhere we had spent summers in our youth! Fond memories of swimming in the tiny, sheltered bay, which is still inviting to swimmers, paddlers and kayakers. The whole park is a stunning, peaceful setting.

This is a beautiful natural park with trails and waterfront around a secluded inlet fronting the southwest shoreline of the Strait of Georgia. Trail options include a waterfront stroll around the inlet or forest trails through natural woodlands with a beaver pond and untouched coniferous and deciduous trees. Look for seals and sealions from the headland at the end of the waterfront trail. And be aware that bear and cougar inhabit the forestland in and around the park but human interaction is rare if at all.

The trrails are not long, but there is a lot of variety of terrain. The views also vary and the presence of deer and bird life make it really interesting.

Enjoyed our brief stop at Moorecroft, there are a few short trails, worthwhile for a quick walk. Also the shoreline is just beautiful, we lingered for awhile enjoying the view!

This regional park used to be a United Church girls retreat and day camp. Most of the buildings are now gone, leaving a delightfully quiet regional park . Off the beaten track -- it's signposted at the NE end of Dolphin Drive. Take the path from the car park all the way to the lookout -- splendid views across Georgia Strait to the coastal range. On the way back, take the path right up to the meadow -- nice woodland walk. We saw an owl.

This park is a hidden gem. Short walks to a tranquil beach. There are lots of trails outside the park to walk dogs also. Highly recommend if in area
