This is a short trail, only 3km Loop. Great for beginner or anyone just looking for quick hike into nature
The parking lot is a decent size and parking is $6 (all day parking)
There were a few hills, nothing to challenging. The trail is easily marked so you won't end up on a back trail (been there done that. Lol)
Great thing was it wasn't very busy, so it was easy to "social distance" yourself
As a bonus at the entrance there was a "boot brush" for you to scrap off any vegetation or mud. Another great thing was they had poop bags available for anyone with dogs

We are regular visitors to this site, location, location, location. There are a variety of trail. Some are very easy, while others require a good level of physical fitness due to trail length and the steepness of the hills. There is a trail map at the entrance, just off the main parking lot. Parking is $2 per hour or $5 for the day. Please check the CLOCA website for current pricing.
The only complaint I have is that there is no water feature. No creek or pond. Nearby Enniskillen Conservation area has both of these features, but the trails are not as extensive. Also note that Long Sault isn't recommended for picnicking, whereas, Enniskillen is.

Good 3.5km hike with some up & downs through cedar forest and hardwood on upper parts. Dog owners DO NOT follow request to leash dogs but let them run wild. A 5 and 1 for pet owners. A lot of people don’t want a charging dog running at them on a trail, inconsiderate people!

If you want to get some fresh air and some excerise this is a great place to walk. Pets on leashes enjoy the excerise too. Great for kids to burn of steam, a great family walk.

Stephens Gulch is a beautiful serene walk that takes about an hour or two to complete depending on how fast you are. The trails are well maintained and there is plenty of parking. The pets will love it here as well. Recommended for an afternoon walk.

Don't fish here....it is why I was there but simply the spots are few and far between. The river runs shallow and fast in some place with few holes for the " bigger " fish to hide. Nicely groomed trails, clean and picturesque.

My husband and I snow shoed here in January and it really has some beautiful tree lined trails.
Although a short hike (maybe 3 kms) it is very scenic. The road to get into the conservation area is very steep, so be forewarned if it is icy and you don't have snow tires!
