This is a fantastic space.
Fields, trees, lakes, woods, paths, plenty of parking etc.
Wonderful place, clean and tidy, well maintained, lovely for children, dogs, plenty of paths, walkways, bins.
Beautiful place, 100% worth the trip, we go quite often with the dogs.
It’s a pay carpark so be aware to either have your card or cash at hand, but it’s cheap and it pays for all the kiddy areas, up keep, maintence etc.
I think in the summer they have a little coffee bar/van as well which is usually very busy and only there in the summer.
Be nice to have something in the winter when everyone there with dogs is cold and would die for a coffee and or a bacon butty, due to time constraints most of us in there at that time could walk the dogs, have breakfast and then be ready for work, (so a 7-10 van/bar weekdays would make a killing)

Marbury Park is beautiful. It borders the canal system, Anderton Park and Nature Reserve and Great Budworth Lake. There are miles of footpaths in the area extending from this park. It has many paces to rest and quietly watch and also various local enterprises offer a wide range of activities based here for all ages. It borders a wonderful nurseries called unsurprisingly Marbury Nurseries which is certainly worth a visit if you are that way inclined. It also has an amazing history. I love this park and feel so lucky it is nearby.

First time I’ve visited the park in about three years as I stopped going due to poor Childrens playground, too many uncontrolled dogs running around and dog poo EVERYWHERE!
Well there is a lovely new wooden play area for kids which they loved. Sadly still too many idiots with dogs running around loose and dog poo. Not great sat eating pic nic with three young kids and trying to divert their eyes from a Labrador having big poo right next to the fence round the swings. Lovely. Can’t play football with kids as too scared dogs will run after the ball or the kids or that the kids will run through dog poo
No where to get a coffee or ice cream either which a shame
The play park part was nice in fairness but not sure I’d return due to the dog issues

What a wonderful place. First time visiting and totally overwhelmed with how amazing it was here. Brough our dog and he loved it, so much freedom. Park was lovely for my daughter, we could have stayed all day

Beautiful
Park - so many options for walks. The mere is stunning. We did a foraging course here with wild food U.K. which was fantastic! We learned so much in beautiful surroundings.
Amenities are unfortunately lacking … The park needs a cafe or coffee van.

This has been the park I have been going to for 12 years and has never disappointed, its an amazing place to walk your dog and just have a family walk

An interesting and well kept country park with good walks, views of Budworth Mere and a nearby superb bluebell wood. The instruction on the pay and display car park are not clear, and the amenities at the centre could be better. On a warm spring weekday it would have been good to have a cup of tea, or even an ice cream, but neither was available.

Such a pretty park. Had a lovely autumnal walk with my man yesterday.
Positives-
1) cute cows
2) helpful sign posts esp for the canal
Negatives-
1) needs more foliage for anyone wanting to engage in sexual fumbles

Last Saturday 28/08/2021( bank holiday weekend) myself and my wife went to Marbury Country Park, only to find that once again, certain friends and family members had effectively CORDENED of a section of the car park ( the grassed section to the left of the exit) we had arrived prier to it being 'closed off ' and parked to the far right. Parked up, we went for our first walk of the day, we usually do this, returning to have a pick-nick and a sit down.
On our return we found a football match in progress and had to negotiate through to our car, I went to the boot to get our seats out, one of the older members said politely ' oh I see your going now we can move one of the cars' to which I replied 'no we are having a pick-nick' he then walked off.
Now we had to take our chairs over the small hill to be away from the football and the associated noise' not to mention the many bar-B- Q's they had on the go, I must add that even a small hill like that is very difficult for my wife to climb so I had to move the pick-nick food and our chairs before I could help my wife over the hill, we sat there and enjoyed our sandwiches but after a while the other smaller children came to play in the same area as us! It became intolerable with them running around us with big sticks and branches they had found, so we packed up and got in the car, the elder member grinning moved his car, we then moved to another area of the vast car park for the rest of the day.
We find it inexcusable that we where effectively FORCED from the area that they deemed

Marbury is a lovely place to visit & a much valued area for local people. However, the amount of visitors with uncontrollable dogs running loose without any supervision ruins visits. To the three people with the gun dog who have just allowed it to run at toddlers twice And said “it’s alright” before spewing abuse at concerned parents, your behaviour is disgusting. There may not be a law regarding dogs on leads but it does state you should be in control of your dog which you clearly weren’t. A parent is not likely to take your “word” that your dog is friendly when it’s running at a child. Before any comments, owner of German shepherds which I would never allow to intimidate or subject children to what I’ve just witnessed

Sorry for the late answer. The cafe van is only there at the weekends. The reason for the long queue is that it is worth waiting for!

day tickets are available to buy on the gate and are priced at £8.00 for adults and £5.00 for children. only members are guaranteed entry to the pool all day, every day. On busy days, day tickets may sell out. there may also be a long wait on the gate. To stand the best chance of buying a day ticket during the peak summer period, we recommend that you arrive at the pool for visitor opening time. 1pm in may and noon in june, july and august. day tickets are also half price after 4pm.

Hi, I would say it's quite wheelchair user friendly, obviously a bit of a bumpy ride in places, but the place is massive, so most paths would accommodate I should think
