There are no words to sufficiently convey how remarkable this tour is. An absolute once in a lifetime experience, which will leave you with memories to treasure for years! Our family enjoyed every second. Steven is an incredibly knowledgeable tour guide, and has a true gift as a storyteller. He has an exceedingly deep knowledge of the history of the area, and a true passion for it. He made us feel very comfortable, and was a delight to spend time with. The countryside views are breathtaking, and Steven takes roads that even locals may not be familiar with. The car itself is a huge amount of fun, and waving to the people we passed was a delight. Steven has truly put together an excellent experience, and one which will allow you to have the most quintessential of British adventures. Every single aspect of this trip was top notch. An absolute treasure of British culture, and one of the very best investments you could make into your vacation or special event. If you're looking for an unforgettable and unique adventure, delivered with the highest level of excellence, this is the booking to make!

A wonderful, unforgettable and magical tour. Steven provided a magnificent 5-hour tour of part of the northern Peak District, in wonderful sunny weather. The tour had been booked as a present from our daughters to help celebrate our Golden Wedding, during which we stayed in Edale for a few days with friends and family. We loved the 90+ year old car, which was in immaculate condition and with its 3-litre engine the steep hills provided no challenge. It was a real treat for me to sit up in the front and be driven as, due to my wife’s eyesight issues, I always do the driving. Steven’s carefully chosen route took us to see many of the wonderful scenic views using off the normal tourist roads, via narrow picturesque lanes and up and down quite unbelievably steep hills. It was a real nostalgia trip for us both and our friends were able to see much more of the Peak than they had seen before. We all enjoyed Steven’s company and the mass of fascinating information he gave us. Even the weather was perfect. We can thoroughly recommend Steven. It was certainly a 5-star trip!

Another magic trip with Steven and his vintage Ford. Our first was in March and we came back for another one last weekend, so what better recommendation ? Wonderful country side, lots of hidden gems, great tea and cake/gin and tonic at a beautiful Youth Hostel in an old hall near Hartington and Steven at his entertaining best. Now which trip shall we do next ..............?

My wife and i booked a Vintage tour with Steven to mark our anniversary. It was a lovely experience which will live long in the memory.
Steven was charming and full of knowledge about the Peak District. He made sure the route chosen was a most scenic one which did not disappoint at all.
I would not hesitate to recommend Vintage Adventure Tours for an unforgettable experience of the Peak District.

What a wonderful experience we had, was a present for my husbands 60th. He is very familiar with the roads around Derbyshire but even he hadn’t been on the roads where Steven took us. Steven is very keen to share his knowledge of the area and you can tell he thoroughly enjoys his job. We stopped in Hartington and bought some cheese we also had coffee and cake from the cafe which was nice. Thank you again Steven for the experience it is highly recommended. We did the Farm Gates route.

You can certainly be forgiven for not knowing the roads I use on the Farm Gates tour. It really is a bit of a time warp. And you're correct - it is the best job I've ever done.
I do hope the cheese measured up to expectations.

It was a lovely sunny day, a cool breeze in your face when you are enjoying a ride in a vintage open-top car along country roads you did not know existed. Perfect.
Steve was a very knowledgeable driver and guide and obviously loved to show off one of his three beautiful historic cars.
We stopped for a beer or soft drink in Harrington, bought some cheese at the village cheese shop and then we were off on the road again, a hoot on the klaxon and heads turning wherever we went. Was driving really like this? Wonderful!

Driving really was like this. Sat high up in an open topped vintage car looking over the field walls has to be the best way to experience any beautiful landscape. The sounds and especially the smells add to the whole experience!

We had a terrific day with Steven and his beautiful car. From the moment we started until the end of the tour my husband and I were both smiling and the tour exceeded both of our expectations. Steven is a really lovely man and shared with us his extensive knowledge of this beautiful area. We would really recommend this unique and fun way to see absolutely stunning scenery and spend a day in the gorgeous Peak District.

This trip was a wonderful experience and well worth doing. It was easy to book, we did it by finding through Facebook. There was a choice of trips to do from a short three hour trip through to a day trip. We did the up Hill and down dale trip. Steven was very friendly and informative throughout the outing.
It was great fun riding along along in the car through beautiful countryside and villages, with sounding the horn and everyone waving!
I’d thoroughly recommend this to everyone.

The weather was kind to us, the landscape was stunning (as usual) and you seemed to know so many people along the way all waving and cheering us along. Smiles all round. Great to see you all again.

Hi,
We plan to be in this area at about 3pm on Saturday 15th June 2019 and would love to do an afternoon tour including high tea (or Devonshire tea) somewhere with a nice vista. Say 2-3 hour tour, Could you advise availability and cost. The following morning we head for Tonbridge, could you recommend a good pub or B nB where we could stay. The tours run throughout the year (except Christmas Day and Boxing Day) subject to availability.
You need to wear appropriate clothing. As Billy Connolly said "there is no such thing as bad weather, just inappropriate clothing". I can bring the hot water bottles if it's going to be cold.
