Charmless indifference

If you would like to taste some delicious English wines served with knowledge and enthusiasm then try somewhere else. On the spur of the moment we had hoped to buy a few cases of English wine for an event this summer but we were met with charmless indifference and no opportunity to taste what we wanted. We did buy a bottle although I now rather regret it.
I think maybe you have to book a full tasting package to be welcome.

Vineyard tour and tasting

Having g received a gift voucher for my birthday, I booked the tour and tasting for Friday 1st July, and was pleasantly surprised how knowledgeable and informative Alan our tour guy was, was sociable and funny in places which made us feel at ease, definitely recommend the vineyard tour to friends

Brilliant Tour and Tasting.

I took my Mum here for a Vineyard Tour and Tasting last weekend and we absolutely loved our time at Kingscote. We had Ellie who was leading our tour and she was very knowledgeable and friendly. The grounds itself were kept beautifully and the wines we tasted were great. We would certainly recommend coming here for a tasting and tour.

Lovely place to visit

Wine tasting tour was conducted in a small group of 10 by a very knowledgeable and engaging guide (Lesley) who has a great sense of humour and her manner was perfect. We also opted to have ploughman’s lunch there which was great too and all in wonderful surroundings on a perfect summers day

Fantastic tour with Alan!

Cannot recommend a tour with Alan enough. He had a warm and welcoming presence which immediately put us at ease. He had great anecdotes and was full of knowledge. He answered all questions thrown at him with ease. I truly learnt a lot and he kept our interest throughout the whole tour.
I would definitely go back and will look to possibly buy the tour as presents for family/friends when the opportunity presents!
Only one thing… the cheese board could have had a little more chutney or pazaz! Liked it was local produce though!

Lovely vineyard tour

How many places can you go to for a wine tour with a steam train chugging by as you sip your bubbles? A wonderful venue in the countryside and an excellent tour from guide Emma. I've drunk barrels of the stuff and still know nothing about it so it was really informative. The wine is superb and such a success story for the burgeoning reputation of English wines. Well done. Will be back.

Kingscote Wine Estate Tour

A fabulous way to spend the afternoon and a beautiful spot in the Sussex countryside. Our tour guide Lesley kicked the afternoon off perfectly with her incredibly informative and engaging but still lighthearted tour. Lesley is a credit to the business.
A lunch in the cafe afterwards finished everything off nicely.
Would definitely recommend.

Kingscote - hidden gem

Visited Kingscote on a beautiful sunny day. What a hidden gem with vines on the hills, herons on the lake and lambs in the field . Excellent tour of vineyard led by Alan who was informative and entertaining. Generous tastings too. Had a really enjoyable lunch watching the Bluebell Railway stream train pass by.
