The area is a worthy spectacle and well worth the journey and time. Though I thoroughly enjoyed it I hope it doesn't get too popular

The road in is a bit rough, but its so worth if. Amazing views, we saw & heard seals & a manta ray form the cliffs above. Such a beautiful area.

a wonderful part of SA - such amazing scenery, crashing waves, clear blue sea, geological history, dirt road very easy to drive on for SUV or bigger - highly reccommend

The largest sealion colony on the mainland. The viewing platform is approx 50 metres above the beach so a good vantage point.

Well worth the visit to see the sea lions on the beach below and watch their activity. The viewing platform is easily access from the car park but being 50m above the beach the view of the wildlife is best through binoculars or telescopic lens. We were here when a rain squall hit and the wind blew and there is little protection so be prepared for weather changes. Still, loved it all. Worth visiting as part of the tourist loop from Streaky Bay.

We had a great time viewing the sea lions through the binoculars. Learnt lots from the education boards and had the opportunity to see a seal pup feed from the mother. Didn’t know they took milk for the first 12 months. Also learnt about Little Patty - the smallest star fish who gives birth to live young! A great experience with majestic views.

Take a decent camera with a zoom not a useless phone as you won't get any decent pictures.
We took binoculars as well😁😁😁😁

Great detour to watch the Sea-Lions at rest and play, the viewing platform is above the Sea-lions so the are not disturbed

What an absolutely fantastic place where you can see sea lions relaxing and enjoying their lives in a safe area. I would suggest taking binoculars so you can see them closely and we were lucky that someone lent us theirs. Bear in mind, no toilets so make sure you can go the distance. Great visit.

This was one of the highlights of our holiday. The sea lions are just magnificent and there were pups as well, which were so cute! While the lookout is quite high above the sea lion colony, you can still see them in their natural environment without them being disturbed. Bring binoculars for a better look. The scenery and colours of the rocks and water were stunning. Well worth the drive to see this!
