The sea was clear and surprisingly warm ,great for dogs and people alike ,never busy and a great place to sit and relax

We travelled from Suffolk to pevensey bay caravan park because it is the nearest place to see our family we have stayed at park holiday parks before with no problems

We arrived the caravan was to be ready for 4pm after many enquires it was not until 5pm when we went into the caravan it smelt awfull it was untidy and dirty it had not been cleaned things were covered in grease and muck I phoned the offi
ce to tell them it was totally rubbish it was supposed to be a gold caravan it was disgusting I asked for another van and was told that was all there was not one I went into the office and told them if you havnt another van I wanted a refund and well what do you know they found another we have written to them about our concerns and they have not had the decency to reply what we didnt know the site don't own the caravans they are sublet by the owners of the caravans

We travelled to the beach Saturday evening to walk the dogs… there were a few people around, some having picnics others enjoying the evening sunshine. We returned also in the morning as it was so lovely.
The beach is pebbly all along, in the morning there is a little sand by the shore
The current was quite strong so we were careful to keep the dogs on the shore side, but allowed them to get their paws wet.
Parking is easily available nearby at a pay and display car park.

Very quiet when we visited...but that was more due to the weather...windy and rainy. Like the beaches we had already visited, not sandy but stoney. Hard for me to walk on, even in walking shoes, not for those who have difficulty walking...or mobility issues. Good views but hard to see it attracting families.

Lovely pebbly beach to visit any time of the day and evening, Nature as it should be beautiful & serene. Beach clean and quiet. Very relaxing place to be . Lots of dog walkers

Once you walk through what looks like a housing estate you will finally get to the beach. It seems a shame to have built it all up so much! Stony beaches aren’t my favourite, but still lovely and peaceful.

We spent 4 days in Pevensey Bay at the beginning of June 2021. It was reasonably quiet. The beach is pebbly but we had a lovely time there. We enjoyed looking out to sea where you can clearly see Dieppe France on a clear evening.

Lovely shingle beach with some great views, always windy though.
Good for walks with dogs and kids, very steep shingle slope into the water so be careful.

Went to cafe near car park couldn't care less attitude what with all the private beach synes up along the beech, talk about not welcoming, differently NOT coming back.

Hi if at Normans Bay site (ccc) I would to make sure also worth being a member if using more of their sites in the year. Have camped at other sites in the area over the years and just turned up no probs. ie fri night but haven't done this for a few years but on those dates don't see a problem
