Rang to check availability for Kendrics Kingdom and told it was not necessary to book. Got a taxi with my 3 children and my partner and his friend drove to meet us there.
Told very bluntly at the front desk that there was a private party so we were not able to get in!
We explained we had called to check but were just given a shoulder shrug and told that they did not answer the calls!
Unfortunately my youngest son is only 3 so we were not even able to do another activity.
The children were so disappointed it was awful.
The taxi had cost £12.60 to get there and so we were left with no option but to pay for another taxi to get to Central Park.
Fortunately it was a beautiful day and the kids had a lovely time in the end but I am appalled that you can ring to check availability and be given totally inaccurate information and then reception staff be so flippant when a clearly unacceptable error had been made which not only has upset 3 young children and ruined a family day out, but incurred considerable unessasary expenses.
I made a complaint at a previous visit about staff not keeping the ball shooting part of Kendrics Kingdom stocked as there were only 2 balls available! Staff ignored requests from myself and other families to address this and were generallt rude. I emailed to inform them of this issue twice - both of which were ignored.
We decided to give it another go and I really wish we had not bothered.

We attended a childrens party today and were very disappointed.
Firstly the posittives. The Jump areas themselves are fun and the kids had an ok time - although not much variation - most are literally trampolines.
Now the negatives. Childrens Party you get a choice of one food - Pizza and Garlic Bread - take it or leave it! My daughter eats neither so I asked if she could have just a slice of plain bread so she could eat with the other children - Nope not possible! Despite them having an expensive cafe area upstairs that serves bread. Shocking! My Daughter ended up sat there eating nothing and we stopped off at McDonalds immediately after!
Part of the problem is the staff all seem School leaver age so no maturity to deal with "difficult" requests like a slice of bread. Had it not been a kids party I would have asked to see the Manager. I would assume the,Party cost a few hundred for the host yet a third of the kids left there hungry - ridiculous!
Also Cafe ridiculously expensive and Card Payment only. When a few people there lose their jobs having played their part in a "cashless society" maybe then they will realise how ludicrous not accepting legal tender is. Truely absurd!
My advice is avoid. Far better places with helpful staff and at far more reasonable prices. £3.95 for a Slush and £3.45 a Coffee is laughable!
I gave 2 Stars as amongst the absurdity described my Children had a reasonably good time so that is in the interests of fairness - but the rest is a definite 1 Star!

We had a great time in the batting cage. Never been to one before so didn't really know what to expect but there was a range of bats to use and several different ways to play where you could change the stadium, whether you wanted to play at a high school level or professional and how fast the ball was bowled. Great fun!

Lovely venue, always looks clean! My kids absolutely love coming here just wish you could try and keep your prices down or introduce a monthly membership

Girl on front desk very rude !! Cant be bothered acts like its to much effort and condersending. Why put her on the front desk to greet people 🤔 staff all a bit drippy to be honest and let's the place down.

2 sides to this review, kids (aged 18 months to 7) had a great time, were happy and exhausted by the time we left but number of users, staffing and related health and safety makes us unsure if we’d return.
Positives! Varied activities..
- Softplay a decent size, lots to do, up to age 8 I’d suggest.
- Trampolining great variety, individual through to duel and jumping off onto giant beanbags, soft ball, hoop games.
- Climbing lots of choice, various levels of skill
Negatives!
Car park probably satisfies a quarter of the need, half an hour trying to park gave up, left half our party trying to park. So walked in late to a long queue with 2 staff members bitters and 2 iPads for everyone in front to complete the disclaimers. We made only 15 mins of our 1 hour softplay in the end.
Trampolining.. saw a child with blood all down their face (it happens) the v young staff busy staring into space no clue how to support from a first aid point of view. There should be more experienced supervisors/team members available.
Jump onto bean bag, we had one adult at the top and one at the bottom, which you could consider overkill but a good job as one of the children in our group landed and someone else jumped after them, flung her in the air and she nearly landed dangerously on her neck, my husband managed to intervene her landing.
I appreciate these places are own risk, however when there is risk of serious potential injury there should be some kind of tighter rules rather than a sign saying ‘please don’t…’
Climbing.. at this centre you have to wait to be clipped by a team member and so the wait time is long. Other clip n climbs you can do so yourself and move on to the next.
Bittersweet experience as huge fun but very stressful!

Ive been visiting chelmsford jumpstreet for a number of years with my 6 year old son and it has generally been good fun, however over the last year or so it has been becoming increasing more busy with a large amount of kids parties.
Weekends are now a waste of time to visit, as the volume of people make it impossible to jump without risking injuring young children. Today I paid £28 for myself and my son for a 1 hour session which was a waste of money, as jumping was near impossible with the amount of people in there. The capacity needs reviewing ASAP as its clearly a risk to childrens safety.
Capacity being far too high means the car park, even the "overspill" car park are completely full and so are surrounding side roads.
The lockers are a total mess with only around half being functional, many have doors hanging off or broken. These have been the deteriorating for some years and dont appear to ever get maintained.
Its a shame as my son has really enjoyed the sessions in past.

Fun for kids but the staff are so rude!!
I made an error when booking and called customer services within 5 mins of booking to request a partial refund which was refused (they do not offer refunds which seems very odd to me) I was offered a credit note however staff very condescending and rude. Upon arrival the check in staff are unsmiling and seem very young. Once we entered the trampoline park my husband and I walking behind our 2 year old who was having a great time jumping when I suggested to him we should go and try another trampoline and a nearby staff member that had heard us chatting literally shouted “SHE CANT DO THAT ONE!” We both turned around a bit surprised only to realise that she had actually misunderstood what we were even talking about as I wasn’t suggesting the activity that wasn’t appropriate for our two year old! This is just one small incident of many. Also maybe a coincidence but our daughter became poorly the next day with a high temperature etc and I did wonder how clean it all is in there.

Far too expensive. £110 for an hour climbing and and hour trampolining for 3 children. ‘Last man standing’ game not working.
Staff seem bored senseless. Food stops serving at 5 when it closes at 7. Puddle of urine on the toilet floor.

Absolutely disgusted with this company!!! Massively overcharged me then don't respond to any emails or phone calls. Unhelpful staff when i trying to contact management!!! Wish i could rate zero stars!!!!

I'm not too sure but I think teenagers do go in groups without an adult present. You have to sign a waiver. Their website should tell you :)
