The golf was good but I was kept waiting whilst the ‘pro shop guy’ was dealing with members scorecards. My presence wasn’t even acknowledged. Disgraceful.
On top of that, I was charged £25 for a round on the Warren course at 3.30pm. The twilight rate is £20!!!! I won’t be returning.

Popped in today for lunch with my husband for a light lunch. It was really busy with diners both inside and out. OMG, it was delicious, sandwich chips and a side salad was all we could eat with a latte. Excellent value for money and will return again.

I had high expectation of playing this championship course but it was very disappointing. Arrived at the club house at midday on the 12th to be told there was no food as they were unable to service two areas and there was a group in the restaurant, on investigation there was three tables, Not even an apology.
Course was terrible we expected it to be yellow and dry but very scruffy none of the tee boxes numbered and the surrounding area around the bunkers was worst than the rough.

Visited the “Championship qualifying golf club” on 12th August and was very very disappointed@ £120 each for a round.
We arrived early for our tee time by 1 hour so we could have a Sandwhich & coffee before we started our round.
My friend went to the clubhouse bar and asked for the snack menu so we could make our choice & was greeted by the staff member saying we’re not doing food as we have a function on down stairs.
He advised all we wanted was a Sandwhich again he was told no there will be nothing available for approx 1hour he said again what absolutely nothing yes that’s correct.
All the staff will be at function (not my Issue)
What sort of service do they offer at this prestige golf club !!! Not very good at all.
We then left the bar and walked across the car park to the Littlestone warren golf club house where we were made to feel very welcome.
We made our Sandwhich selection from the menu and it was very reasonable in price and very good quality.
We then went back to the tee for our booked tee time and started the round. We got to the 1st green and there were 2 green keepers there and all you could here was f’in this f’in that all reference to a football match which was what we really expected.
I wil say when we got closer to them they acknowledge us and said hello of which we reciprocated.
The course like all courses was dry and hard so that was to be expected, but it was very hard at times to see where the next hole was as we hadn’t played here before and most of the holes were not numbered.
There is a small map on the score card but without glasses (in car) it was very hard to see.
There are lots of paths leaving from all directions but no real guidance on routes to take.
As you can imagine there are bunkers everywhere but also amazed of how in general tatty they were looking and other players just not taking the time to rake them after there shots foot prints everywhere.
So our experience of the facilities and course wasn’t good and for the price ridiculous.
I hope if you play here you have better service and conditions.

First time visiting, it wasn’t awful, it was a lovely sized plate breakfast, however, the guy seemed very grumpy, I don’t no if that’s his sense of humour or it’s just him as a person, I just felt on edge eating my breakfast, great selection of drinks to choose from, beans and tomato’s was cold and the toast let it down, if it had of been proper thick cut bakers bread it would be amazing, the kings meal bread let it down, however I can’t fault it I didn’t want to bring it up because the man looked grumpy enough, but overall I would come back yes, Thankyou for today

Played here on a Charity Day and thoroughly enjoyed it. The course is tough but rewarding. Started well with a birdie and a par then the course beat me up for a 2-3 holes but then got used to the conditions and enjoyed the test.

Great test of golf on this superb links course. The prevailing wind is an added hazard. Good fairways and greens. Good lunch menu in the interesting clubhouse. Recommended

We had the first match between England and Sweden senior scratch golfers at this very fine golfcourse. The course and the hospitality from the club was excellent.

Plane to see the club really does not want societys. We traditionally visit the Warren club house for breakfast but were told if we did we would not qualify for the package deal and it would cost £80 per head. They did however offer breakfast in the main clubhouse for an additional £5 per head. Breakfast was fine but the course is not in the best condition following the hot summer. Tees have lots of weeds and moss with little grass on the fairways. When we eventually returned to the clubhouse after a slow round with another society in front of us the showers were cold. After 40 years of having our society championship here I don’t think we will return.

Dear Andy F. I am sorry to read your review as I know you have been coming to Littlestone for many years. A couple of points however. the summer green fee is £80pp and we reduce this to £56 IF the group is of 10 or more and if a minimum of £17pp is spent on food and beverage equating to a society rate of £73pp ( as published nationally)
The Warren is a franchised F&B so if you had had your breakfast there we could not therefore have offered you the reduced rate however we had also given you and additional discount of £6pp ( from your green fee) given your long relationship with the club. The showers are a pain- we know that and I am sorry you had a cold shower but the plumbing of our old clubhouse doesn't not cope too well on busy days. As for the course- well you are right the weather has been extreme this year but i am surprised by your comments as you will note from other recent reviews on other sites the good condition of the course has been recorded. We shall miss having the Ducks at Littlestone and hope you enjoy your day at another club next year and hope one day you will all return.

Hier konnten sich Profis wie auch Amateur für "The Open" qualifizieren. Wer also mal den Check machen möchte, ob Er oder auch Sie es hätten schaffen können..... 50£ auf den Tisch und los geht's über diesen herrlichen Links Course.
Danach noch auf einen Pint ins Clubhaus mit dieser Aussicht auf den Course, der einfach nur breathtaking ist.
Nebenan gibt es noch einen weiteren Links Course, der nur die Hälfte kostet. Aber er führt eben nicht an der Küste entlang und qualifiziert nicht für "The Open".
Littlestone GC wurde 1888 gegründet und seither wird dieser Platz gepflegt. Daher ist qualitativ sehr guter Golfsport möglich.
Danach noch auf einen Pint ins Clubhaus mit dieser Aussicht auf den Course, der einfach nur breathtaking ist.
