So many exhibits and fun things to do. We took our teenager as well and she had a lot of fun. Check out the science show and ride the Segway - Tina of fun to be had here.

This place is awesome! Whether you have kids or just want to explore as an adult, there are so many things to do, both hands-on and just learn. It is a little expensive, but it is worth going at least once!

Really cool place that has something for all ages and a very varied experience. There is a ton of hands on stuff to do that will keep both you and your kids occupied.

Excellent place for kids. They have so much. We will definitely be back. Not only our child had a blast but we did as well. Highly recommend.

My almost three year old and I LOVED it! We are members of our local Science Museum, so we got free entry since it was a reciprocal museum. There are so many different areas. We went on a Thursday afternoon so it wasn't super crowded. We visited three hours and still didn't get to see everything. I had to drag her away.
There wasn't an area we went in that didn't have something for her. She climbed all the play areas, did all the slides, rode the little carousel for at least half an hour, flew in the airplane cockpit, honked the fire truck horn, explored all the crawl through tunnels, built a pyramid with the stackable buckets, and jumped up and down on the larger than life table at the front. She was enthralled with the train set. We also did the photo booth. She is so proud of the picture of us from that. I would have liked to see the fire show, but she was too busy to stop for it. There's also a cafe which we didn't eat at. I had as much fun as her! I definitely recommend it.
I will warn parents of younger kids about some of the taller slides. The green metal one is too fast for littles to go by themselves. I went down behind her, and when I got to the bottom she was crying and holding her head. It hurt me going down, so I'm sure it didn't feel good for her. I had her sit in my lap for all the other slides.

We had a great time so educational and grandkids loved it. It is right next door to the Oklahoma City Zoo which is also a great place to take family great zoo they are working on it in some places but you can still enjoy seeing animals nice food courts. You should try their Pretzels at the Asia inside food place, They are warm and comes with warm cheese they are delicious!

The staff are committed to helping the parents and children! We had a nice time with myself and my daughter and six children. Everyone found something they enjoyed and the play area was a hit! I did lose a child for a few minutes in the water area, but he was hidden out of view. The classes that were available twenty years ago for the home educating families is greatly missed. Wish that could happen again. But we are happy to be members and loving the changes to the outside and train area, too!

Fantastic children’s museum!!! My 7 & 8 year olds LOVED this museum stop on our trip from Illinois to New Mexico. This was the best childrens museum we’ve ever been to! So many hands on exhibits to explore!

So much fun stuff to do. You could spend ALL day in there, especially if you just let the kids play. Lots of exhibits and fun things to do.

This is definitely more exciting for younger kids under 5. Many of the exhibits were closed, but what was opened was cool.

There is plenty there for children, and most of the exhibits are geared to the younger audience. It is very well thought out for family groups.

Thanks for the question! We closed the Dome Theater in Sept. 2015. It was a difficult decision, but ultimately the projection equipment's age and the difficulty finding film formatted for the theater prevented a consistently high-quality experience for guests. We're currently exploring a new use for the space!

Hi MomASL, parking is always free at Science Museum Oklahoma. A large parking lot is available directly in front of the building. It is very safe with little traffic other than museum guests.

It just depends on what you want to do, and how long you want to stay. Our little ones are 2 and 5 and they would have spent much longer at each attraction if we hadn't tried to keep things moving. We arrived at 10am and didn't leave until 15 minutes before closing, at 4:45pm. And the only reason we left at that time is because the husband and I were exhausted. You could easily spend the entire 8 hour day in there. But I did notice a lot of local mothers who seemed to be just there for a couple hours. Trust me when I say, your kids will likely never want to leave. Not even a week later, and ours are asking when we can go back.
