Zarrow Center website said Open today. 12-6 pm. We went to see what looked to be a really cool map exhibit of maps of Tulsa. We got there at 2:30 pm. No doors were open. We checked the doors on the north and the south side of the building. We went a couple doors down to see if we were at the right place and we were but Zarrow Center wasn't open today. Its the last day of the exhibit!!! We were told by this other business that the Henry Zarrow Center for Art and Education was often not open when it was supposed to be. In fact we were the 4th group today that came in to ask if they were in the correct place and how to get into the Zarrow Center. There is not phone number on the website but this other business gave us a number. While I was calling, another group of people came in asking where the entrance to the Zarrow Center was cuz their doors were locked. There was no answer when I called the number but the recording said "we are currently closed" and to call back during the week!!! IT's the last day of the exhibit. The website says the exhibit was open today!!! Lousy lousy

We went on a first Friday and had beer, listened to a good singer and checked out embroidery. The staff was friendly and easy to talk too. We truly enjoyed the young man singing and just checking out the art work. Nice place.

This is one of the best art centers west of the Mississippi. Call ahead of time to find out if there are any special events happening which adds more excitement to your visit. The museum has a large collection of biblical based artifacts that are worth seeing in addition to the holocaust items.

This should be an absolute requirement for everybody to visit, particularly with the Holocaust exhibit. Unnerving? YES! NEED to know? DEFINITELY! Entertaining? MOST definitely! While there are many extremely entertaining displays and exhibits, THE most interesting is the Holocaust section. Scary, but uniquely interesting in how man CAN be so incredibly inhumane to other men. You cannot help but feel quite creepy as you view this one! Something we MUST know or we will be doomed to its repetition. If you are squeamish forgo this and just enjoy all of the other one of a a kind displays. An afternoon very well spent!

The Zarrow Center was named for a great philanthropist that recently passed away from Tulsa. His vision for the Center was to provide both show galleries and classrooms for the City to use. It has well surpassed his vision. A worthwhile visit while in the Brady District.

In Tulsa visiting family and wanting see the best they have to offer. This exhibition was outstanding and the best possible way to spend an afternoon. $5.50 admission for seniors

The three-story Zarrow Center spans 18,000 square feet and has been renovated to include classrooms, art studios, gallery space and a reception area for events.
The first floor features gallery space where the public can enjoy exhibits in a social setting. Special exhibitions are featured in the Sherman Smith Family Gallery, including shows featuring the artwork of TU students and local artists.
Our OSU-Tulsa Native American Arts class has met here several time this semester.
