Extensa y amplia playa, con viento y mar con oleaje. El agua no me pareció tan cristalina de este lado de la isla. De todas maneras es hermosa y es una playa a la que tenés que ir sí o sí si estás en Anguila, es una de las más lindas.

Another beautiful beach to visit while in Anguilla. There is a beach shack for snacks and drinks. Beach chairs are free if you order food, otherwise they charge $20 per chair. Nice folks….two ladies helped us bring back our beach gear back to our car. Parking in a bumpy grass lot.

My experience in 6 days in Anguilla; it is a destination that you only go once. This Island has beautiful and practically virgin beaches. The service was nothing spectacular like its gastronomy. It is "excessively expensive" and with out alternatives at night except dinner, the road infrastructure is terrible.
If you want to know this island is better to do it from San Martín.

We did stay in this area of the island exactly for this amazing beach, and even though I was very tempted to split the stay between Shoal Bay and Rendezvous Bay I was ultimately thrilled we did stay all 8 days here! It's not that Shoal Bay is bad, it's a great beach too but it's just that Rendezvous Bay is so unspoiled compared to Meads or Shoal - yes there is Aurora Hotel... but it's living in its own world "away from it all"
... so the rest of the beach is basically the Great House Resort that barely affects the shoreline except for its Coconuts Beach Bar and then there is the Place restaurant with its hotel, and of course the colorful Sunshine Shack and unique Dunes Preserve of Bankie Banx - beautiful, relaxing, with some boats coming in the morning and leaving in the early afternoon, never overcrowded, never too busy and great for long walks
In 8 days we did experience some NO SEE UMS :) or the sandflies but usually around sunset so you want to spray yourself or cover but to be honest nothing really fully protects against these evil creatures :D so we would just call it a day and head to our room at Great House to head out for a dinner :)
TIP: you can rent beds/umbrellas at Sunshine Shack or Great House, the latter has plenty of natural shade from the palm trees vs. SS providing umbrellas for their shade - both great places to have food or rum punch/beer (reviewed separately). also parking is available by SS or the outside parking by Great House and the Place - right by the beach - no public restrooms but either restaurant or hotel will accommodate for you

A praia de Rendezvous Bay é maravilhosa, sensacional, linda, paradisíaca, impossível de achar um adjetivo para ela.
Ela fica localizada na região sudoeste de Anguilla. Aparentemente só é possível visitá-la através dos beach bares ou hotéis.
Ficamos no bar Sunshine Shack, que é excelente. Existe também a opção do The Place ou do Dune Preserve, que parecia fechado em Abril. Existem os hotéis Aurora (alto luxo) e o Anguilla Great House Beach Resort, que parece uma opção mais razoável financeiramente.
Para chegar é um pouco chato. Siga pelo GPS, mas depois ali pertinho siga as placas do Sunshine Shack, se for o caso.
Esta praia é pública, com uma areia incrivelmente branca contrastando com aquela cor de mar do caribe que conhecemos tão bem!
No 1º dia que visitamos o mar estava bravo e ficamos aproveitando na plataforma de bóias do restaurante. Muito vento e água um pouco fria, mas nada que a gente não se acostume. Não foi possível fazer snorkeling.
O movimento estava baixo, poucos turistas, que chegaram mais para o horário do almoço e logo foram embora, em sua maioria famílias com crianças.
A entrada do mar possui algumas pedras, algumas afiadas. A praia é ótima para caminhada - fomos para os dois lados (Dune Preserve até o The Place).
Aproveitamos para ficar um dia inteiro ali... ela realmente é sensacional!
Visitamos ela mais uma vez, com as mesmas condições de mar e vento, mas foi ótimo!
Não vejo a hora de voltar!

Beautiful beach! We loved the view of St.Maarten in the distance. It was a little busy because it was a holiday, but nothing crazy. We ate at Sunshine Shack, but it looked like there were other places along the beach. Bring a pool noodle or floatie for the ultimate relaxation!

The beach is amzing, clean safe and the crystal clear water is so nice plenty to do snorkle, sail or just grab some sun. Our hotel the Aurora Anguilla was right on the beach. The food and drinks available at a few places along the beach.

Sable chaud et blanc, mer aux reflets de bleus changeants, tranquillité sur plusieurs kilomètres de plage, face à Saint Martin...le rêve !!!

Stilare una classifica delle spiaggie ad Anguilla e' quantomai problematico... il livello di bellezza e' talmente elevato che metterle in fila e' un enigma...
Questa e' sicuramente tra le top 3, insieme a shoal bay east e Maundaysb bay (ma anche Meeds.. bay... ) Spesso e' ventilata per cui il mare non e' proprio "piattissimo" come piace a me, ma ha un colore, delle sfumature meravigliose. Il colpo d'occhio della baia (lunghissima) e' favoloso. Una passeggiata sul bagnasciuga qui... e' un esperienza che non si dimentica facilmente.

We visited end of June and it was beautiful. Yes, our beach property no longer had a beach, but we simply ventured out to other areas. If I recall the southern beaches had a bit more damage. I believe Rendezvous is south. Northern beaches are still beautiful with much less impact. Sand was smooth and waters crystal clear. Anguilla is a beautiful, serene place to visit. Years ago and now.

Aloo, nosotros viajamos con un bebé. Sinceramente, desconozco si alquilan, en algunos lados estaban las sombrillas junto a la estructura que las soporta, nunca pagamos nada por usarlas, ni hubo recargo.

How do you get to Rendezvous Beach from a Celebrity cruse?
I would suggest you speak to the cruise excursion director, but most likely the cruise will have debarkation tours to Anguilla including Rendezvous Beach.
There are many tours that appear to include catamaran cruises that include a stop over at Rendezvous at Anguillan Great House.

We are staying in st Martin and would like to visit rendezvous beach. Does the ferry go directly to that beach. If so which ferry and where is the location to get the ferry

you will have to take a ferry anywhere you land in Anguilla-
but you will wish you had stayed there rather than St. Martin.
Better beaches, friendlier folks- more relaxed.
