One of my favourite local places with amazing walled garden close to some lovely walks. Flower garden looks it’s best from April to July but is still looking gorgeous with the late summer plants

Visited these lovely gardens on a very hot day in late July. We walked there along the Celandine trail from Pinner, a lovely route that connects together green spaces.
The highlight is the walled garden. In late July this is a mass of colour with roses, hollyhocks, and very varied perennial planting.
There are several historic buildings from the house (sadly lost) including a 17th century stables block (used for community events) and dovecot. The gardens have a cafe which is open in the morning and early afternoon (closes 3pm - toilets only open when cafe open).
The gardens also have a quite newly planted orchard of apples and pears; a small rock garden; some topiary and wildflower border. There are wide areas of lawn, with some interesting trees - which go down to Field End road. These make a lovely spot for a picnic. There is also a large meadow, reached by crossing a bridge on the River Pinn - a pretty and cool spot on a hot day. The planting makes the whole gardens very peaceful, blocking out noise from traffic.

A lovely little park with formal laid out gardens including a walled garden. Many seats out of the wind adjacent to the walls.

Have only been to visit it in december. I have seen photos of it in spring and summer (I live in Ruislip) and it looks pretty. I hope to return in the different seasons. I have not been to the cafe since it is 2020. do be careful....park can get muddy and flooded in places, and there's places where there are slopes and i slipped and fell.

What a lovely place to come and soak up some sun, chill out and relax.
Never knew this place existed until today, when my friend brought me here.
The gardens are beautifully kept and the walled garden a little piece of tranquility.
Good on site parking makes life easy.
A great place to chill and relax.

This is a hidden spot not too many people know about. If you want a quiet, green space to get fresh air in Eastcote then this is the place to come. There is access to a clean toilet when the cafe is open. The walled garden is well maintained with beautiful plants and flowers to see. Just beware to leave plenty of time for queuing if you want to get something from the cafe, as there is always a queue for ice-cream especially on sunny days.

Visited during Lockdown, Amazing Outdoor Space. Walked through Wild Meadows, arrived at Walled Garden, its tranquil and has few benches to sit and reflect on how life may have been in 1500s. Step outside the Walled Garden and you come to the Garden Cafe with outdoor seating so you can enjoy a cup of tea. Reasonably priced. EHG has its own car park but if that is full, you can park across the road near the Cricket Club. Volunteers have worked hard to restore Eastcote House Gardens to its former glory with Lottery funding and it continues to be a lifeline to so many during the Lockdown. Across the road is the famous 17th century pub, Case is Altered with plenty of outdoor seating. A must visit especially during Covid.

Lovely place for Sunday breakfast. Beautiful setting and a great choice of food. You could be in the countryside as lovely surroundings. Relaxed and friendly.

what is the parking time limit at The Stables Eastcote House Gardens

There is no time limit. If you find a space it's yours for as long as you want it. Two disabled spaces, too, with, relatively, disproportionate and unnecessary, amounts of space.

Apart from the beautiful gardens and the lovely cafe, what is there for four children aged 4 to 7 to do here? It sounds like it's a nice place for adults.

There isn't a climbing frame or anything particularly for children, but there are plenty of green open spaces to run around in, trees to hide behind etc. There is a little stream as well, so plenty of ways for children to entertain themselves.
