No matter the weather, do not miss visiting this place. The skywalk is free to enter (other than a gold coin donation) and this allows you to experience the beauty of this World Heritage Listed rain forest. The views are breathtaking and offer endless photo opportunities. We have visited when the weather was brilliant and not so great. oth perspectives are worth it.

Amazing views of the rainforest canopy. The wooden sky walk bridge allows you to walk out over the canopy. The cafe is excellent and the gift shop has a large range of goods. There is a picnic area with an electric barbecue and a wood burning cooking area. Wild wallabies wander freely.

The main reason for turning off the Pacific highway from Brisbane to Sydney was to drive up to Dorrigo and to visit, among other places the Rainforest Centre there. I'm really glad that I did.
I arrived here early one morning, midweek and found the place to be practically empty. I parked in the extensive free car park and made the short way to the Rainforest Centre. This is quite a modern building, entry into which is free but the princely sum of 2,00 AUD is politely requested. Cheap at half the price when you consider the marvels beyond.
Anyway I didn't hang about much in the shop area but found myself drawn to the fantastic skywalk. This is certainly not for those suffering from vertigo. At the far end of this impressive lookout post you have stupendous views all the way to the coast.
From there you have fantastic walks through the rain forest, notably the Wonga Way taking in at least a couple of wonderful waterfalls and some stupendous forest. Oh, and the constant musical accompaniment of the birds. Absolutely wonderful.

What a stunning place to visit! We went at 7pm for sunset, and while the clouds were there it was absolutely breathtaking. Highly recommend visiting and doing the skywalk. We were right in time so didn’t get the hikes in but it was gorgeous.

So many beautiful trails and walks in this national park. Beautiful scenery with amazing waterfalls. 4 Days I spent here camping with my friends really. But it's not on the same level as many Australian national parks so I felt like giving it a 5 star was unfair to many other attractions

Can easily spend a whole day here. Waterfalls and wildlife, (and leeches). Amazing skywalk above the canopy with views you could be entranced with for hours. Great educational centre. Cafe is average but great to sit and have a bite after a long walk.

We called in to visit and have some lunch. The food and service was lovely. The shop & information centre was full of goodies and lots of things to purchase. The rainforest walk was beautiful.

If there was to be just one must-visit location in Dorrigo, it is the Rainforest Centre. The centre houses the excellent Canopy Cafe, lots of well-presented information on Dorrigo National Park, and a large variety of locally sourced, high-quality products for sale - some pretty expensive. Access to the Skywalk is a bargain at just $2. It is at canopy level and offers spectacular views across the national park as well as way down onto the rainforest floor. The Rainforest Centre also provides access to several tracks through the forest. We did the Wonga Walk, which took a bit over 2 hours. It is a superb walk, not onerous if you take it easy, mostly on bitumen track and with just a bit of uphill on the way out after Tristania Falls. Crystal Showers Falls was a real highlight - its worth taking the short path to walk behind the falls. Also impressive if a little sad was sight of some genuine giants of the forest being slowly overwhelmed by the 'tentacles' of strangler figs.

The Wonga walk, 6.5 kms, was an absolute treat. The greenery, smell, sounds plus several waterfall was a great way to spend several hours. Bring sturdy shoes, the path is well made of bitumen, rolled gravel & plastic planks. You won't regret it & you can walk either direction. The skywalk gives a terrific panoramic view, situated high above the tree tops.

It was lovely to see the views from the sky walk but we also enjoyed browsing, and shopping, in the very well stocked gift shop.
