Winding along the coast from Blenheim Beach to Chinamans Beach, and past the delightful picnic area at Greenfield Beach, this is a superb walk through lush bush, with giant blackbutts, gnarled banksia, twisted scribbly gums and dense bracken undergrowth. In the background is the sound of waves breaking on the rock shelves and there is great swimming at any of the beautiful and incredibly clean beaches along the track. The Scribbly Bark Walk loop track climbs upwards from the coast and passes through thickets of stark white scribbly gums and is an easy addition to this delightful walk.

One of our activities during a recent family get-away was enjoying part of the Jervis Bay coastline walking trail.  This path actually starts at Huskisson, then hugs the coastline all the way south to Hyams Beach.  The 'star' of this walk is the 'White Sands Walk' between Nelson and Hyams Beaches (or alternatively, there's the shorter version starting at either Blenheim or Greenfield Beaches and finishing at Hyams Beach).  If you're doing the longer walk, there are public toilets located in the carpark at Nelson's Beach.

On this occasion we walked the Collingwood Beach to Plantation Point segment, passing the smaller beaches of Orion and Barfluer along the way.  Needless to say, there's lovely coastal scenery at every turn.  This stretch of path is safe and well-paved - so it's great for bikes & scooters, and is very kid-friendly.  We passed public toilets that were located right on the walking track at Vincentia (near Holden Street).

Our trip to Jervis Bay was the week before the June school holidays, so we often had the path to ourselves and enjoyed the serenity.  All the family gave this activity the thumbs up, and we came away feeling chilled and relaxed after exploring this part of the coastal walk.  See attached photos.

This is a lovely walk with a number of perfect beaches along the way. The track itself is fairly flat with a gravel base most of the way. There is the option of doing a slightly longer loop walk if you do the coastal walk one way and the walk through the scribbly gum forest on the return journey.

This is a beautiful walk that gives you a taste of the magic of Jervis Bay. You pass through bush land, around coastal headland, and along white sandy beaches. Takes about an hour ambling slowly with children. Plenty of places to stop and rest for toddlers. You finish up at the Hyams Beach Cafe which is a great pit stop for a cool drink or yummy lunch before you head back. Walk can be extended at either end to make it longer by adding Plantation Point at Vincentia end or Hyams Beach walk at other end. A fab idea for a windy or cold day if you’re in Jervis Bay with kids

Well developed pathways with gentle inclines making it accessible for all. Views are amazing. Quite shaded. Seats and playgrounds along the way. Beautiful solo, or walk/ride with family. Great coffee and gelato at the end point. Great exercise whilst in holiday mode.

Lovely walk on a clear summers day. We have done various sections of the walk this week (Moona Moona creek to Orion Beach + Greenfields to Hyams). Easy walking on the beaches, beautiful views. The walk between Greenfields and Hyams was particularly lovely.

This is a wonderful walk that links Chinamens and Greenfields beaches, while taking you through forests with Jervis Bay views. Easily extended north to Blenheim Beach or south along Hyams beach. Worth taking in the Scribbly Gum track which is a loop path part the way along the trail, taking you away from the coastline, coming in/out of the Greenfields Beach picnic area. On a weekday in November, plenty of free parking wherever you choose to commence the walk. Including scribbly gum track, was 3.2km in less than one hour. Toilets at both beaches.

An amazing walk from Blenheim Beach in Vincentia to Hyams Beach and back - it was 40minutes each way. - and took in Blenheim, Greenfields, Chinamans and Hyams beach. The path is easy walking with lots of shade and stunning views. From the path you can also walk down to all the beaches for a swim or photos.

The signage for the walk is poor but you encounter others you can ask.

You get amazing views on the track, crystal blue waters and white sandy beaches.

And the two most spectacular beaches were : Blenheim and Greenfields. (And Hyams was the most disappointing.)

We did the shorter version starting at Greenfields beach to Hyams. It took approximately 30-40 minutes each way. The path is fairly laid out except when you get to the road and you second guess yourself for a second, but you work it out.

You get amazing views on the track, crystal blue waters and white sandy beaches.

On the way back we stopped at chinamans beach as it was the cleanest and quietest.
