This is a one of the best well run Rural museum's that I have visited in 50 years of travel. Large (allow 2hrs) diverse, covers all aspects of life and is well maintained on an ongoing basis. The exhibits are kept fresh. Entrance is by a fee paid at the Visitors centre. $8 for Seniors.

This is one of the best rural museums we have visited in Australia. Extensive displays in their own area or building that allows an excellent presentation of the region's heritage over the years since settlement. Several buildings from the area have been relocated and reassembled here, including Don Bradman's home cottage from birth to 3 year old. Something for every age group to enjoy. Very accessible. Allow 2 hours for good coverage.

One of the best rural museums around. $8 admission and you could spend a couple of hours here. Great collections of machinery, steam engines, old cars, ambulances and fire engines. Don Bradman childhood home. Textiles, photos and memorabilia. Great source of local history.

It was such an informative and excellent museum. The vast array of information, displays of equipment especially the tractors and ambulances were fantastic. We loved the small building recreations of Bradmans cottage, church, pioneer cottages and memorabilia. Dont miss it when visiting Temora

A visit to this museum was recommended by the Visitor Information Centre volunteer and we are glad she recommended it. Such a wonderful collection of things to look at, spread over a large area - including little cottages set up to reflect their era. Very informative, lots of information to read if you choose to. Many of the items brought back lots of memories. We would recommend a visit to anyone who likes history.

As with everywhere in Temora the staff are very friendly, true country hospitality.
I thought they were joking when we were told the size of the Museum - they weren't. Thank goodness they have a cafe because you really need a day and a cut lunch to do it justice.

This museum has an excellent collection of mostly local history. Everything on display is restored to very good condition and exhibited in rooms with themes. Outside of the main building there are sheds full of old farm machinery, fire trucks, ambulances etc. There are old buildings including the house Don Bradman grew up in, an old church, a black smith's work shop and a collection of old tractors and engines. There is a gift shop and tourist information room at the entrance, and public toilets. Allow a few hours here as there is plenty to see.

This place is a must! Need about 1.5 hours to go through properly, takes you back in time, maybe your time, depending on your age.
