I can't recommend enough! If you are a car enthusiast and you love driving, this is the ultimate experience. It was professional and as real as one could imagine. The pre instruction and prep for the experience was serious and they give you a good sense of safety. I still am on a high and am rebooked to return. If you are a first timer, it pays to take the drive-along before doing the actual race. I did the 40 miles and have signed up next time for the 60 miles. I bought the full package with photos and video. I was lucky that the weather was really nice and I wasn't rained out. If you are rained out and you're coming from a long distance, I recommend to stay overnight for 2 nights in case they have an opening for the next day and the weather improves. I have found the staff to be extremely accommodating and helpful - even about answers related to hotels, etc. Enjoy!

My wife and I went to the Pocono 409 yesterday. We will never go again! Traffic control both in and out of the was ABYSMAL. Took forever on Rte. 115 to get it, then crawled to the handicapped lot. We left after the second stage of the race, and it literally took an hour to get out. We pulled into the line and it didn't move for 20 minutes. The fools responsible for traffic control did a horrendous job. Never again!

We had never attended a race before although we live 15 minutes from the track. This year we decided to go. We read the website so we knew what to bring etc. We left two hours early for our 15 minute drive expecting traffic.
3 1/2 hours later we still had not reached the entry point.
Once we did we had missed at least the first hour of the race.We kept going and did not go in fearing the departure could mean another 3 hours in traffic.
Pocono has engineered a great racetrack but has not engineered multiple entry points for traffic.There were hundreds of people who waited long hours to get in ,this needs some more thought!!!
As a local I should have know better. I will not try this again.

Had a blast with my friends! We arrived early to tailgate to cook some breakfast and party outside the track. Enjoyed the race and will be back in the future!

Attended the Great Pocono Raceway Airshow. Airshow itself was great- all the aircraft, demonstrations, stunts, well done and hats off to the men and women of our armed forces. Blue Angels of course were the highlight and they did not disappoint- amazing skill and precision. As for the rest, plenty of food vendors and tents with hats and shirts etc. a fan zone type set up outside. Remember to be prepared for hot sun, also ear protection. The only downside we had was parking - everyone leaving at same time, and we were to the far right. It was a free for all and one guy for 200+cars coming from all directions, he pretty much gave up trying to create some sort of order. We sat for an hour not even moving but inches from our parking spot. Eventually they opened a side gate and directed some of us around back and then we started to move. So the upside was we actually got to drive on the racetrack which was very cool. :)

My son and I decided that we would branch out of our home state of Florida for at least one NASCAR race per season starting this year. We normally go to Daytona of course, and Miami/Homestead. Well, we went hog wild this year and have seen races in Atlanta, Charlotte, and now Pocono Raceway in Long Pond, PA. A lot of track experiences to compare in one season. For Pocono, we decided to splurge on the more expensive "Terrace Club" seats that included high-up seating, some buffet food choices, soda/beer/wine included, as well as an included "paddock pass+" We had a truly wonderful day at the track for the High Point 400 Cup race. It was well set-up, easy to get into and park, with good signage and a lot of personnel. The paddock experience was apparently re-vamped recently, but it really didn't do much for me. We could stand on the track, and sign the start/finish line, etc., and yes, we could peer through a fence at the garage area, which is somewhat unique. But there were almost NO beverage offerings for very thirsty fans, and we got bored with it very quickly. If it weren't included with our terrace package, I can't say that I would have felt the pass would have been worth buying separately. The food and drink offerings in our terrace package were very picnic-ey and just 'so so,' and fell very far short of the chef-inspired food we experienced in the Club One experience at Atlanta Motor Speedway (which was actually a cheaper ticket than this one). All in all, however, the experience of the race itself was pretty great, and we checked off a bucket list track in Pocono. Highly recommend to any NASCAR fan.

Went for the Pocono 400. Traffic was well directed by local law enforcement out on the highway and track personnel once on premises. They do a good job of directing parking. Lots of variety of food available at stands throughout the facility. Assigned seating that offers generous width unlike some venues. Sometimes hard to see the action and PA is difficult to hear on occasion.

We booked tickets online for the airshow. Its definitely warm so plan accordingly. Hat, glasses, sunscreen, noise canceling. The ticket scanner did not work at the gate so they had to look up the reservation. They had food vendors and outdoor stations. The marines were there. We loved the airshow. The traffic and parking take a while. They organized parking well. They warned us beforehand. The blue Angels were the highlight of the show. Its completely worth watching! The tickets are reasonable.

Airshow advice: DO NOT purchase shaded seats for double the price thinking you will be able to see the entire show. The shaded seats are completely covered - meaning, only those sitting in the first 2 rows get 100% visibility of the planes. If you must sit further back (and some will, as they sell more than can fit in the first 2 rows) you cannot view the planes as they ascend higher up. Of course, the Raceway ticket sale site doesn't alert you of this fact when you purchase. Buyer beware!

My wife, 3 grandchildren, service dog and I were a t-shirt vendor (for about half an hour) at the Great Pocono Airshow until one of the underlings from Mountain Concessions (who run the vendors at the track) told us he had gotten a text from his boss that he objected to 6 of our t-shirts. The coward didn't have the nerve to approach us personally even though he took the time to critique our product line. I was told to remove them at once or shut down the booth (we were next to the 3 ride along cars at gate 12). Several of them are best sellers (I was selling one to a young lady as that conversation took place). Our company name is resistforty6.com and we design, manufacture and sell conservative, patriotic and humorous apparel. As you can imaging, we don't take it easy on the current administration. The contract we filled out had our business name which is also our website (we don't have a storefront) so there's no way you don't know what you're getting when you agree to take our money. We will not bow to cancel culture, so my only choice was to refuse. Our booth was filled with customers who turned quite angry at the news, many saying they would not come back. There was great interest in our product even as we were packing up word spread quickly throughout the crowd asking for business cards but there were security guards standing there (for TWO hours) to make sure we didn't sell anything else as we were making preparations to leave. On the way out, I was struck with how many American flags there were throughout the property and how hollow a symbol that is in this day and age that cancel culture, has all but killed the 1st Amendment. This was no small undertaking, traveling from the Jersy Shore the evening before, setting up AND taking down a 20x30 space and losing our hotel room for Sunday as it was too late for Saturday checkout. As I type this, I am contemplating our next move. This might not be over yet, stay tuned.

If you'll settle for water without the beach there are two pretty cool water parks less than 30 minutes away ... Kalahari and Camelbeach at Camelback Mountain.

we have pit passes but you can't take your cooler there is there somewhere you can leave your cooler and it be safe

The Guest Services tent located at Gate # 8 before you enter the Pedestrian Tunnel to go to the Paddock and Pit area is a monitored area you can leave your cooler while in the Pits.

300 level ($150) is shaded, but no AC, seat cushion completely optional (I did not felt like needing it). Suggestion would be to seat in 300 level (if able to afford)... 100 and 200 levels do not get any shade thru all day

We have never had a problem with small soft sided cooler but if you are concerned contact the track and ask them...they are good at replying to email questions

I don't recall the seat number sequence. Suggest you contact raceway staff, they are quite friendly. Just check website for contact information.
IMHO the upper rows have a better view than those close to the track.
