Go with my coworkers for autumn festival most years. They have food, shopping, a beer garden, animals. Pick your own produce.

Trash and food all over the ground. Staff smoking on premises. They want you to pay for the playgound but never update it.

My wife and I recently visited Linvilla Orchards with our granddaughters. We went on weekday so it wasn’t too crowded. There is lots to do and the girls really enjoyed the day. They had fun feeding the animals, going through the corn maze, and picking out pumpkins. We would recommend this place.

Stopped by Linvilla Orchards ON Mother's Day. They had advertised that they were having Strawberry Shortcakes on special that day. I was really looking forward to getting one for dessert for after dinner. We didn't make it there until around 2PM that afternoon and unfortunately they were completely sold out by then. We did pick up a nice hanging flower pot for another Mom though.

Very busy orchard. Picking or buying pre-picked apples. Prices are reasonable. They also have other fruits like Asian pears. A very nice playground, $1 admission. The playground has a section for two to five years old and another section for older kids.

We visited Linvilla Orchards on 8/7/2021 and we were enjoying the place picking sunflowers, blackberries and peaches until we stepped into the corn field. While we were walking in the open corn field we were confronted by an old bearded Linvilla staff who was shouting at us to get off the field for no reason. He was talking loud and very disrespectful to us.When asked for reason he yelled at us "You are not supposed to be in this place. This is my private property and get out this place". The issue has been reported to the Manager. I agree that this is a great farm but would like to warn that they do employ some very inhumane and racist elements. Until the management takes necessary actions and address this issue, I would never recommend visiting this place and ruin your day.

The pick your own fruit was a great activity for us and our 6 yr old. She was into the picking and cane to look every fruit we picked: blueberries, peaches, raspberries, sugar plums.
The negative: their instructions, staff help etc is super disorganized and poorly managed. So it’s pretty confusing at first about what to pay for and where to go. They need a management consultant to come in and streamline things, otherwise the teenage staff will takeover poorly.

This spot of land is like an oasis in a desert. The vintage cars were amazing and was a brilliant idea to bring people together.

The farm, the bakery, the nursery, the hayride and the gift shop are perfect for visiting. The staff is great and make the experience even more memorable and desirable.

Major shoutout to the hayride driver. Thanks for going beyond and above in the personalized way you address us.

We went to Linvilla Orchards for their Spring Food Truck Frenzy. I was surprised how packed this place was for this event. Upon arrival, ALL of the parking lots were nearly completely FULL. We finally found parking all the way at the top of the hill furthest from the market and made our way down to the market area. Food Truck event was in the picnic area behind the market. Here they had around 8-10 food trucks set up. With the crowds of people they had, I think they needed a lot more food truck options. I think at least double!! Lines were LONG at MOST of the food trucks. We stood in line for ONE HOUR to get burgers and a crab cake from Albie's. Lines at the neighboring trucks seemed just as long. Chank's Grab-N-Go had a much shorter line, so it only took about 15 minutes to get a cone shaped slice of pizza. BUT, just about every truck had massive lines. It was very frustrating. Either they need to increase the number of trucks OR limit the amount of patrons as it did not make for a pleasurable experience. Not to mention that there is still a pandemic going on...and there were a sea of people sitting and standing around EATING (no masks). We grabbed food and took it back to our car since we felt so uncomfortable in the picnic area. We tried to get cupcakes from the Cupcake Carnival truck, but they had SOLD out!

Beside the food trucks they also had a stage set up with music playing. Kids were dancing on the stage, so they seemed to enjoy it.

After we ate, we decided to take the kids for a pony ride. Pony rides were paid on location at the pony ride arena in cash. We paid $10 per child to ride the pony around a small arena. For $10 they got 2 laps. I felt this was way overpriced. I also did NOT like that they did not do a good job of pairing ponies with the children based on size. Small children were often placed on the bigger ponies and older children were seen being placed on tiny ponies. Perhaps they just randomly placed children on ponies to keep the line moving, but I thought this was poor planning. Our children were not placed on appropriate sized ponies.

After the brief pony ride, we decided to try to take the kids on the Linvilla train ride. Train tickets had to be purchased online and had timed ticketing. We secured tickets at $5 per rider for one train ride that included 4 laps around the train track. Adults and children can both ride at the same rate. The train ride was actually very enjoyable and a much better value as compared to the pony ride. After the train ride, we briefly visited with the animals in the petting zoo (goats, horse, deer, peacocks/birds/geese, etc), visited the market/bakery and garden centers. We got a dozen of their HOT fresh apple cider donuts for dessert after lunch since the cupcake truck had sold out. We were happy with the donuts as they are delicious, especially when they are fresh and HOT. We also grabbed a pumpkin cheesecake for dessert (for after dinner) as they are excellent. They are very creamy and have the perfect amount of pumpkin flavor without being over spiced.

Overall, we had an OK time at Linvilla during the food truck frenzy. We have enjoyed our past visits, but the Spring Food Truck Frenzy is NOT something I would personally care to do again. I felt it was WAY overcrowded and there were NOT enough trucks for the amount of patrons. The time to stand in line for food was ridiculous at 1 hour and some trucks even SOLD OUT before the event ended. Many people were NOT wearing masks or social distancing in the lines. The pony rides were overpriced and ponies were not appropriately paired up with children based on size. Train ride on the other hand was enjoyable. We enjoyed our visit with the market today. Their HOT fresh apple cider donuts are EXCELLENT and saved the day since the cupcake truck was SOLD OUT. IF you planned ahead, you could get ONE free donut for a non-perishable food donation during the food truck frenzy.

Bottom Line: I would recommend for a visit, but NOT during the food truck frenzies!

We have been to Linvilla Orchards a few times during the Fall and Winter seasons. We attended the PumpkinLand event at Linvilla in October and returned again in December for the Santa event.

We really didn't pick out pumpkins or participate in the events in Pumpkinland, but we went to the farm market for some produce and a delicious pumpkin cheesecake! We saw that there were lots of food tents set up during the Fall weekend event. They had funnel cakes, roasted corn on the cob and lots of food that looked really yummy. However the lines were long (during the pandemic) and not very well socially distanced, so we passed.

We saw online that Linvilla was offering a FREE socially distanced, ticketed Santa event. You had to reserve timed tickets. We were so excited since many Santa events were cancelled this season due to the Pandemic. We reserved tickets for our children for this sort of Dr. Seuss "Noelziphone" themed Santa Event.

We got there early to look around and find the exact location of the Santa event. It seemed well organized. We were admitted fairly easily and asked to social distance. They had a fence with cookie sheets on them to help keep families separated & entertain the children as they moved along the line. They also had
small snack shack located next to the Santa event should you want a snack or hot cocoa. Once it was our turn, the elf asked our children's names. She then showed our children where to stand so that they could talk to Santa through the Noelziphone. It was a really beautiful, colorful & creative set. Santa was so gracious and kind with the children. He spent a good amount of time talking to our children, looking at the pictures they had drawn him and asking them what they wanted for Christmas. It was really nicely done & NOT rushed at all. I was so impressed. We were allowed to take photos and kids were given candy canes for visiting.

After the Santa event, we walked around their tree lot, visited with the animals on the farm, listened the the Mansfield Brass band playing Christmas carols and walked through both the garden center & farm markets. The Beer Garden was also open, although we did not visit it. We already had our tree so we did NOT need a tree, but it was still nice to walk around and look at both the trees & Christmas decor. The petting zoo area was open, however, the food machines were removed due to the Covid pandemic. I did see a sign in the farm market where you could buy $1 bags of greens to feed the animals though. The kids really enjoyed visiting with the animals (goats, geese, deer, turkey, horse, various birds, etc). Inside the garden center, we saw lots of nice items for purchase. They had some really amazing nutcrackers, nativity scenes, Corinthian Bells wind chimes, poinsettias, ornaments, home decor and tree decorating supplies/tree skirts, etc. We did purchase some pretty cupcake ornaments. In the farm market we purchased another pumpkin cheesecake and some Christmas cookies, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We saw that they were supposed to have ice carving including one of the Child from Star Wars. We were excited to see them, however, the weekend was rather warm & they had mostly melted by the time we had gotten there.

Overall, we really enjoyed our visits with Linvilla Orchards this fall and winter. I would highly recommend the baked goods in the farm market. The pumpkin cheesecake and Christmas cookies were so good. I would also recommend for the Santa events. It was so well done and organized! I feel they did their best to socially distance the Santa event & farm market area during the pandemic. I would recommend and we will be back for sure!
