Everything was great from reservation to adventure! This adventure was the hubby's.
Arrived 30 minutes early and watched the gentleman ahead of us.
After a brief instruction session, you are off....not quite alone, you are in contact with ground at all times. I say lakeside and enjoyed the beautiful lake and breeze.
Hubby did 30 minutes and used every minute for flying. He really enjoyed it.
So if you are wondering if you should..... You should!
No need for water shoes and wear a T-shirt with your suit. And most importantly.... Have fun.

First, thanks to the instructors for this wonderful experience. You don't have to worry about these instructors treating you like a child or full of themselves. There great. They love first time fliers and encourage you the entire time. The flight was awesome. I lost control once (picture included) and crashed. The crash was great. I was worried about getting injured. The risk is about the same as being pulled on a tube, maybe less. Everybody talks about the flying in the air, but you can also dive under water, I loved that, plus it was easier.

This is not an activity for everyone, and requires a bit of stamina and some patience. The seat is also fairly uncomfortable, as all of your weight is essentially resting on a bicycle seat. Worst wedgie ever.
Having said that, it's a real trip! You are in one-way radio contact with the ground instructor the entire time, and can communicate back via hand signals for more throttle or less. 20 feet up was plenty enough for me! The main key to flying the jetpack is to keep your motions smooth and small, and to not overcompensate or oversteer.
Flying a jetpack is very much a "one-time thing," and not a hobby you will likely pursue. Definitely get the photo package and amaze your friends with your "Rocket Man" experience.
I signed up for the "Premium Flight Special," and 20 minutes airborne was plenty for me. It's a great experience and highly recommended, but that seat is pretty unpleasant. If you have padded biking shorts, wear them. I would give the experience 5 stars if not for the wedgie!
Final advice: Don't follow Google maps to the Myrtle Beach Jetpack Experience. Go instead to the North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex.

Cliff and Trevor were amazingly patient and helpful. They talk you through your whole experience. It was a dream fufilled.

I can mark flying off my bucket list. this beats parasailing hands down. The guys were great with explaining how to operate and what to expect. I was no where near as graceful as Elroy Jetson, but had a blast. Will do it again. Anyone heading to Myrtle Beach its right off of 31 on the north end.

My husband and I did this before we headed back to TN on the last day of our trip. We loved it! The guys are great and very patient. They did an excellent job explaining every thing. Best advice, make sure you get plenty of sleep so you can focus on the instructions given. We will be back!

I have seen videos for over a year and have always wanted to try it. It was great! The guys did a good job of taking a nervous first timer through the flight. I will be doing it again.

3 first-timers with no experience and we had a blast! Cliff and Trevor were great, explaining everything. So helpful and just really great guys. First timers should start out with the lesser of the flight times as it is exciting and we were tired after our 20 min flight. Was amazing fun and an experience we will never forget!

If you're ever at Myrtle Beach this attraction is something you shouldn't miss out on. Came here while on our anniversary and the guys treated us great. My wife and I had a lot of fun. They even have us a military discount on our flights, shirts and go-pro pictures. We definitely recommend trying this out and would return if we were here in the future. Thanks
