We have been a few times now & it is a brilliant place to visit. The kids love it & love making allsorts with the chocolate. Would highly recommend to all ages.

We popped in with our daughter and her cousin for an hour's fun, when she was staying with us recently. We all had a really good time, making decorated chocolate lollies, chocolate drops and a big, white, Halloween themed chocolate 'pizza'. Also decorated a Halloween mask, goody bag and label. The kids enjoyed it very much - and so did the adults! :)

Glasgow bank holiday monday, and i was looking for something indoors to entertain two 6 year olds. Stumbled on Getty Gooey online, we hadn't tried anything like it, so decided to give it a go.
We weren't disappointed. Greeted by Shirley in a bright room, we started right away making chocolate treats, before moving on to decorate masks and bags while the chocolate set. To say the kids loved it was an understatement. My own 6 year old didn't want to leave, even offering to help tidy up to stay a bit longer. On the way out the door she announced 'that was awesome'.
Two very happy children.
Getting there - sat nav doesnt work, use google map and directions. Parking is good. They do parties and all age ranges - this place was a real find, and we'll definitely be going back.

Went with two teenagers, both with additional needs, who generally reject anything "crafty" but this suited us all. Alison could not have been more welcoming or helpful.
Was slightly awkward to find (though Alison always available by mobile phone to direct us) so I hope the move to MacArthur Glen goes well.

Yummy time yummy taste. Took my 10yrs old grandson for a session at the workshop yesterday. What a fantastic surprise for us both. Alison was brilliant with us all explaining everything she was doing & what we where to do. It's very yummy chocolate, not like Cadbury or high street taste. You get a 'work station' to hold all your creations. Marsh mallow, biscuits & lolly sticks & sprinkles to put onto your chocolate lolly, mallows, biscuits etc. It was brill watching the kids create there own things. Next comes make a pizza!! Funny faces was the theme. Then on to craft table to make masks & colour your bag which will hold all your special choco treats. Well worth a trip to do this scrummy activity. You can book your session in line & pay when you get there. It's a little hard to find due to stupid council not allowing for signage. They will be moving into the elements section of MacArthur glen soon. Don't delay book asap.

Hi there and thanks very much for your review, as a fairly new business it helps us a great deal to find out if people enjoyed their experience. We try our hardest to ensure everyone has a great experience with no issues.
As you mentioned all chocolate is superb. It’s only ever Belgian chocolate we use, even for children’s events, plus quality ingredients and sprinkles are used also.
As we’re having a ‘Fiesta’ themed summer holidays we are using a lot of colour in our chocolate making and this seems to be a hit with many like your grandson.
Thanks again for taking time to write your review and we certainly hope to see you both again soon. Halloween is just around the corner and this will as always be a busy one.

Took my two young granddaughters to a session last year. They were both delighted and had a great time making chocolaty things. The ladies were fantastic with the children, had plenty of patience and time for both. The granddaughters left after about two hours, with a bag of goodies that they had made themselves.

I recently visited Getting Gooey as part of a Hen Party and this was a fantastic way to set of our weekend. It was so much fun and the fizz definitely helped! It was great to be a big kid and get messy, have fun and eat lots. The lady's were lovely and were more than accommodating when we all wanted water after stuffing our faces with all the chocolate. Everyone of us got to take away a bag of boogies we had made and it was definitely value for money. Would recommend this to adults as well as for children! :)

This place is a hidden treasure. Set within an industrial estate the Get Gooey truly is a chocolate lovers paradise! Myself and 11 friends spent a lovely afternoon making delicious chocolates, truffles and decorating our own slab of chocolate. Fizz was flowing and everyone enjoyed themselves. Following the workshop we sat down to a yummy afternoon tea with more fizz and cocktails! Once our chocolates were set we wrapped them up and took them home (if we hadn't eaten them!) For £42 per head (which some people would think would be quite expensive) we all thought it was definitely value for money-if anything for the amount of alcohol we had! Alison and her assistant went out of their way to make the afternoon enjoyable and to ensure we all had a great time...& plentiful fizz helped too! Definitely an event I'd consider doing again for a hen party or cocktail night.
