Fantastic trip to Puffin Island

Loved this trip we took my mum and our dog. Skipper was fab so lovely friendly and really knowledgeable.
Boat is brilliant great journey to Puffin Island which was incredible. We saw many many birds including puffins, cormorants and to top it all some seals.
Fab trip, highly recommend.

Fun day on the water seeing birds, and the straights

Lovely trip on the water. Only saw 5 puffins but there were so many other birds and seals we hardly noticed.

The ride is comfortable, and the guide was very knowledge.
It was a bit chilly, so dress warmly.

Puffin Island Plus

We had an absolutely incredible time doing the Puffin Island Plus tour. We loved that the boat only took 12 people, which meant we could go faster and move around more to take loads of photos. We saw so much more than we were expecting to, including harbour porpoises, seals, about 8 puffins, guillemots, shags, cormorants and even a gannet. Harvey was a great guide, telling us all about the local history and the birds. He even took us to the piers in the other direction when we had extra time at the end.

Great views and wildlife

It was a fabulous trip. The ‘skipper’ was knowledgeable and chatty, pointing out wildlife and stopping so all on board could see. Guillemots, razorbills, various gulls, porpoises, puffins and seals. Would recommend without hesitation.

Fantastic trip full of wonder and sea birds

Amazing guide and amazing boat trip, we did the best of both 2 hour trip and wish it was 3 hours.

The trip starts going up the Menai straight through the bridges and the speed of the boat is surprisingly fast. The guide and captain was excellent and knowledgeable .

We then shot across to Puffin island and saw all manner of sea birds and grey seals, puffins, kitty-wakes, cormorants, gannets plunging into the sea, many many more, was a fascinating trip, would do it again next time in area it was so good.

Fabulous 2 hour boat trip, the highlight being the puffins

Fabulous 2 hour boat trip to see the Menai Bridge, nelson statue and then off to Penmon point and Puffin island to see the wildlife including seals, an array of seabirds and PUFFINS! Highlight of the holiday.
knowledgeable and entertaining skipper
would definitely recommend the trip that includes the Menai bridge area as it was really interesting, i'd also go early in your trip as with the info we learnt there were other things we would have visited but had run out of time on this trip.
I wouldn't recommend taking a dog on this trip as the boat goes really fast between the areas you are visiting and unless your dog is an experienced sea dog I think it would be unsettling

Nice little trip

A nice trip, didn't see as much wildlife as we'd hoped, must have been a bad day based on other reviews. Very friendly imformative and helpful crew, Boat is comfortable seating with the basic facilities necessary. Puffin island is an interesting place to view. Good value, well worth the cost.

Dog friendly puffin island tour with lots of Seals and Puffins

Dog friendly boat tour with a friendly team, felt safe and beautiful location- couldn’t ask for better. We saw 50 plus seals basking in the shore of puffin island and swimming nearby, plus puffins and chariots other seabirds. The view to the coast is also stunning. We will defiantly go again.

Fabulous 2 hour trip.

Fabulous way to spend 2 hours, and absolutely worth paying the higher price for the Best Of Both tour with the smaller guest numbers. Only 12 on our boat, meaning we could move around with ease and get plenty of great photos. Jake, our skipper, was knowledgeable and informative without being boring. We saw seals, puffins, cormorants, and various other birds. Highly recommended.

Amazing, must-do experience

Myself and my wife went on a morning tour of Puffin island and the overall experience was fantastic. Knowledgable and well-mannered staff made the experience even better. We had the privilege of seeing everything that was expected and even some
Unexpected spots made the trip even more special. This excursion is a must if you’re visiting Anglesey.
