The car park is on private land and administered by a car parking company. The fees are accurate online BUT the signs in the car park are misleading and inaccurate. Getting it wrong leads to a £60 (£100 if paid after 14 days) fine.
I agree with other comments on TripAdvisor, I feel conned and will not visit again

Reading the reviews the most common reason for writing one, is the numerous Parking Charge Notices. I got one for £60 in Feb and I know others who did this winter. If anyone got one but can't understand why when they thought it was free, I have attached a photo of the sign that was there in Feb. It made you think it was free because you were in the Off Peak season but there were no prices on the Off Peak side of the board! Yes, at the end of Peak season the Off Peak prices vanished! They left the Off Peak title there with no prices underneath it.

Please note for 'Recommended Length of Visit' my only option was a minimum of "< 1 hr", I really wanted to select "Don't Risk It". I don't want people to get Parking Charge Notices, on my recommendation.

This place is beautiful but I won't be going again.The landowners who own this car park are nothing short of thieves and should be ashamed of themselves.£60 fine for a displaying blue badge holder.Incorrect and misleading signage.Puts me off Anglesey.The locals don't like tourists just their money!!

However does the parking company continue to get away with what they do? On the day we visited machines were out of order. Hit with a £100 fine because the small print of the so called contract we entered into is worded such that if parking pay machines are not working the driver agrees to pay £100.

First time on beach. It’s lovely. But experience totally ruined by receiving £100 car park fine a couple of weeks later in the post. Car parking machines were broken ie not accepting coins and we only stayed for around 30 minutes. Middle of January car park virtually deserted but another driver experiencing problem with machines at same time as us so it wasn’t our inability to use machine. These aggressive car parking surveillance systems are not good for tourism especially out of season.

Fantastic beach especially in winter mnths when no holiday makers hardly.
No cafe or toilets this time of year though and the car park has many holes to drive around.
Went with my sister in November 2022 using we thought her blue disabled badge.
Now have a £60 fine
The charges apply 24hrs a day and no dispensation for blue badge.
Cameras record going in and out so can't escape.
Obviously private land so can charge what they want which seem fairly reasonable any way but it needs to be made clear they don't accept blue badge users.
Very dissapointed and £60 lighter.

Got there early (10ish) - easy to park, pick of the spaces on the beach. Stunning location, great sandy beach where water gets deep fairly quickly.
An hour later though and the place was packed! And I mean packed. Three families deep all along the beach - dogs running everywhere (including over sandcastles and towels.
Tried to get food from cafe, joined a queue that moved nowhere in 15 minutes so gave up.
Tried to leave the car park which was a challenge as people had parked all over the shop.
Stunning beach, but would not go back at peak time in summer.

Great beach and good parking. Make sure you keep your ticket as it has cameras. Road down is a bit narrow in places but this is same of most of the beaches in this area.

although my family and got there early and the first half of the day was lovely ( although busy) who deems it ok for TRACTORS and 4X4 to drive down onto a packed beach , shouting at people to move and get out of the way t launch , jet skis, power boats into the crowed waters full of people trying to enjoy the sea. this isn't just in one area this was them driving along the water line . and just when you think that's all they are doing to then be in and out of the shore in said vehicles to collect snacks and alcohol from the kiosk. this was not only dangerous but the oil and fuel leaking into the water was horrendous. nobody on the beach to monitor this.
this seems to be the norm apparently from a local family who suggested moving up the beach as this happens on a regular basis and nothing is ever done.
shame on you Anglesey Council.
this beach is lovely and tide comes in fast and gives a lovely place for young children to paddle board or play with there family's but the lauching of these boats and jet skis needs sorting and the owners need to remember they may be local but the beach doesn't belong to them alone .

Lovely beach. Soft sand with plenty of places to sunbathe. Beach huts that sell pizza/icecream are open in the afternoon
