Great distillery tour. Very local distillery and small. Have booked a tour but it was only the two of us. They were very friendly and told all the process how to make alcohol. Everything was make in this small building. After tour we tasted to spirits and a cocktail.
Normally I’m not to bourbon whisky but theses small batches and so handcrafted whisky tasted so good. Highly recommended

Maybe if you like someone that enjoys cussing and has a bad attitude this is the place for you. It was an overpriced tasting of not very good alcohol! We went to four distilleries today and this was the worst one.

Great chemistry lesson!! Our guide knew all the chemical processes of distilling. I wish he was my chemistry teacher in high school cause he definitely made it simple to understand!

Very educational tour of the bourbon and Tennessee whiskey making process with tasting after the tour. While a smaller distillery, the tour was incredibly informative. Lots of opportunity to ask questions and learn. Staff was personable and attentive. Super clean facility as you might expect. Awesome drinks if you decide to stay and relax for a bit. Made for a great afternoon.

A nice selection of clear and brown liquors and signature cocktails. Recommend you build a flight and try a few.Their award winning absinthe is awesome!

Stopped in for a tasting and Rachel took so much time to tell us about the distillery and the samples we were tasting. The spirits were all great. we loved the Bourbon but surprisingly wound up buying the Nashville Honey liquor and the absinthe.

Tour was given by the owner/distiller, Bruce, Founder/Distiller, and Rachel, Distiller. They are both so very knowledgable and eager to share their passion. Be sure to make a reservation for a tour. If you're not interested in how it's made, but was to just taste, they have multiple products available and you can taste any or all of them.

We opted to visit a smaller whiskey distillery as many of the bigger ones seem over-priced and we thought they would be more likely to be busy; I think this was a good decision. The day we visited was a cold, winters day, out-of-season, and when we arrived for the 12pm tour it was just the two of us (although there was supposed to be a tour group joining, however they were late). Therefore we enjoyed a one-on-one conversation with the bar tender about thier products etc. and he was very friendly (unfortunately I can't remember his name) and we got to try 3 of their own whiskies (I recommend the Honey Spice liquor) and a cocktail which was probably the best drink of all. The bar area is small but of course being the only ones there this wasn't a problem. We then proceeded to the tour of the facility, again just the two of us so it was a very nice personal experience. Despite the distillery being somewhat small (the tour takes place in about over about 10m^2 of area, it was still very detailed, including good scientific explanation that clearly explained the processes involved, but equally was not confusing even for those with little scientific background), and it covered everything you would want to know about distilling without being boring or dull at any point; Rachael took our tour and she was awesome! As far as value for money goes it was definitely worth it, we got the tour, 3 samples and a cocktail for $13. Overall, we spent about an hour there and we thoroughly enjoyed it, I will certainly be recommending Nashville Craft to any family or friends who decide to visit Nashville!

In Nashville over the holiday and found this great place near our hotel. In fact it was the day before and three of us went. The tour by one of the owners was excellent and he pointed out the chemical nature of distilling In layman’s terms. The welcoming cocktail was delightful and the tasting was well worth the cost. This is a small place unlike the “big boys” but has plenty of parking a good selection of items produced. Its close enough to the tourist sights and easy to get too.

If you want a real VIP experience, then Nashville Craft Distillery is without a doubt the place to go!
We found this place quite by chance, as we tried to find a place online where we could book a last minute tour, and still stay on schedule. Located in an industrial area, It’s easy to see why this facility is overlooked by the crowds. But don’t let that fool you! Once inside, you’re welcomed into a quaint, yet modern reception area/ tasting room/ souvenir shop. This room looks into the distillery area from a large viewing window.
The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and eager to share info on their products and how their distillery operates. My wife and I were the only two visitors in the facility, at the time of the second tour. So we pretty much got a one on one tour. Three taste samples are included with the price of the tour. We had pleasant conversations with the staff, as we tasted our samples, and waiting for our tour time to begin.
In the distillery area, they give you a brief, but very informative overview on differently types of whiskey, and how they are classified.
Feel free to ask any questions, as they give a quick explanation of the science behind distilling. The up close tour really gives you an insight into all the monitoring and controls that go into the process of distilling. It was really one of the highlights of our trip to Nashville!
If you’re ever in Nashville, this place should definitely be on your list. You will be pleasantly surprised!
