Great shopping district - especially for girlfriends. Lots of lovely boutiques - clothing, home, make-up, accessories, etc. Many have Instagrammable vignettes. Service was warm and welcoming.

This was on our must-do list so we could see the angel wings and get our pictures there. The Gulch is all new, so don't come here looking for any history on Nashville. Pretty much high-end shops, high-end hotels, and some really cool murals.

First into Nashville after we found our place to stay, was to hit up The Gulch area. Lots of restaurants, cute shops, murals, and people.
Had fun walking the area and deciding what to do the next day as well. Honestly, in one day you can see pretty much all they have in the area. If you want photos with the murals, you may have to way in line, but it goes pretty quickly.

Great time. Its away from the insanity of the main bar scene, yet has everything you want literally a few steps away. Stayed at a condo directly above 404 Kitchen…..wonderful drink spot. Next door to cool restaurant, and across the street from the Station Inn……20 minute walk to the museums, or a 5 min drive by Lyft.

Three/four nights is probably enough if you are going for the Broadway fun. It’s non stop music drinking and eating. Best BBQ was Martins. Best chicken Hattie B’s. Best night was at the Bluebird Cafe just get your tickets the second they become available they sell out in a nano second. Best jazzy/blues place was Acme Feed and Seed all the others bars/places are basically the same country music with an added flair of mixed music. Best shopping was behind the Hattie B’s on Broadway. The Parthenon was interesting look it up see if it’s your type of thing. The Gulch area was nice to walk around some cool murals on buildings. Didn’t do any of the touristy things like peddle for your drinks etc so can’t comment on that except to say others did and they were having a rowdy time.

We had high hopes for The Gulch. When we moved to Nashville 9 yrs ago there wasn’t that much there.
New hotels have sprung up and mostly mediocre restaurants. One of my favorites Burger Republic has fallen by the wayside.
As well as other places that changed hands, The Watermark is gone, 404 Kitchen took the spot and isn’t as great. Gumbo something is a horrible addition. Some shops have closed. Frye Boots is gone, Lucchese is still there but it’s street isn’t as nice as it use to be.
Luogo and Carne Mare are worthwhile for dinner or a drink at Proof atop the W hotel is worthwhile. I believe both are only open for dinner although Luogo said they were going to be open for lunch in the future. We are not crazy about the Marsh House, although the rooftop bar is OK.
Yes, the mural of the wings is great. Sometimes the lines are long to take a photo with that. Weekdays are better. I agree with other reviewers, it’s not worth a special trip, aside from the wings mural. Also we see more and more homeless milling about.
Also, the area over the bridge in the other direction from Broadway is not good to embark on by foot. If you want to go to the that area of 12 South take an Uber or drive. There are some nice shops, Reese Witherspoon store Draper James as well as better restaurants.

I’m a bit surprised to see so many ratings below saying that The Gulch is overrated! It’s a nice change of pace from the hectic and bustling Broadway. Much more chill and suburban feel in this area. The highlights were visiting the Parachute store (stunning home decor) and the Q Clothier.

Plenty of restaurants and shopping. Some very cool artwork as well. Very busy place. Lots of construction so can be a little confusing at times.

When researching Nashville, The Gulch was mentioned every time. Also, every Uber driver mentioned it as well. We went with the high expectations and were disappointed. The shopping and restaurants were the same as every mall. Don’t bother.

Growing area with lots of potential but needs more I felt. Maybe check back in a few years n see it but not worth the paying to park I felt. We wandered to area to eat at biscuit place

Did any of you stay in the Boujie babe cave - a glamours 4 story townhouse in Gulch? It had a painted mural of Dolly and Taylor Swift on the wall. Super Host name is John? Which booking sight did you find it on. I located on Airbnb but so expensive. Hoping it is a little less on another site.
