We hit this store every time we come to the Smokies. You can pick out a rock and they can engrave anything on it. They do excellent work. We bought rocks for family for their garden and flower beds. They are very inexpensive. This place is a true bargain. We love their products and will continue to give their rocks as gifts. Good work fellas. Keep it up. Thanks!

Really cool shop with all manner of stone. From memorials to address signs, they customize all stones with whatever you need. All prices marked on the stone include the carving.

They had lots of samples to look at and beautiful carvings in the rocks. The rock jokes were so corny! Dads everywhere would be proud.

Stopped in here while on vacation to see what the actual shop was like since I had ordered products (small pet gravestone) online from here during the early stages of the pandemic. Shop is basically what I expected. There are several sized rocks to choose from that they will customize for you with phrases, words, etc. We were greeted when we went into the shop, so we felt welcome. If you are looking for a personalized stone or bench, this is the place to get it made.

The shop has pieces of stone/rock with several different sayings etched into them. Several sizes from small sizes ( 3 inches by 5 inches) to very large (5 feet by 5 feet) the most popular seems to be ones about 1 foot by 1 1/2 foot. The also have some special round ones about the size of a football with a bear on them along with Smoky Mountains 2021 on it. For military people, fire, police, medical, and others stones with pictures related to their specialty. These pictures are in several colors and attached to the stones. They also have garden or lawn beaches that they will etch anything you want i.e. names and date married. They are also happy to let you pick from a large selection of blank stones and they will etch anything that you want on it.

We come here every time we come to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge.And they never disappoint us.They are very helpful on looking for a stone and once we decide they show us how the wording will look like on the stone and if we want to change they will.
They will have it ready for you the next day
The only thing I didn't like is that they only take cash so if you go there get cash

We were there the last day of our trip, on Monday, September 7. The young gentlemen who works here (owns this?) came in early and went ahead and opened up the store. He was PHENOMENAL in helping us pick out a stone and then helping us with fonts, word placement, etc. We got my stepson a large stone for his yard with the family name on it, then each grandchild got a matching smaller stone with their names. They LOVED this gift! How pretty it all looks in their yard.
We also picked out a stone for our dog who passed away in June 2020. They helped us with an image, and made it look amazing. We knew we would not be in TN the next day to pick this up (I mean, we were, but we left super early in the morning) so he said he would fix them that day and have them waiting outside the store after 6 pm. We went back that night and there they were! We love them!
One thing of note: Due to rising credit card fees, this store only accepts cash. So either bring cash or make use of the ATM at one of the neighboring stores there in their plaza. But don't let that deter you from getting one of these unique items!!!

We purchased two of the Smoky Mtn Oil Stone Candles, they are beautiful works of art. The shop also has lots of stone engraving, etc. Really friendly people, very helpful. Will definitely go back again.

Called the Sandman Workshop from out of state. Inquired about their small grave marker stones for pets. They told me they could draft the image and send me a picture of the exact stone they would use. Within minutes I received a draft of what the stone would look like with the pet name and a paw print on it. All I had to do was call them back to approve and arrange payment IF I liked what I saw. So, I phoned back and placed the order. I requested that the item be shipped to the recipient since we purchased as a gift for someone who just lost their pet. Sandman Workshop staff was friendly and let us know that it would probably be done by the end of the day but wouldn't ship til probably later in the week since they were back logged in shipping due to the pandemic. I would say that the item was received within a week or so of ordering. Recipient was happy with the stone. She said it was good quality work. She appreciated that the name and graphic were carved into the stone. Price of the 4x5 inch stone was $20. This was a much appreciated sympathy gift.
Overall, staff was friendly and customer service was excellent. Product was good quality. I would recommend.
