While on vacation and driving from Houston to Waco, we stopped at the Bush Museum for something to do in the afternoon. It was a very interesting time! The museum is set up like walking through a timeline of George H W Bush's life. From his beginnings, to WWII, to his career before the Presidency, and finally reaching the Oval Office... It's all covered here in great detail. There's quite a few interesting artifacts, like the Presidential limo and pieces of the Berlin Wall. A few exhibits were closed (due to COVID?) but most were open. I expected the Oval Office replica to be a little bigger, but it was still fun taking our picture behind the desk. If it's not too hot, it's also a nice stroll out back by the lake and through the woods to the family's final resting spot. Worth a visit.

I wish I could leave a 5 start rating because President Bush 41 was a wonderful leader - but I don't think he would be pleased with the fact that they sold us tickets for 2:15 entry and told us we had to leave at 3:30 after we were on the tour! Not a great way to treat patrons and were so disappointed to miss some of the exhibits. Not even an apology. I am greatful we could walk to the graves and it's very scenic.

More of a President Bush Museum for the average visitor. Enjoyed the timeline of his life / career, especially the Navy years and Texas oil business success. Spent 3 hours on campus.

Our visit was fantastic and we spent 2 hours going through the exhibits. The family history and accompanying artifacts were interesting and a great segue into President Bush's twelve years in office (8 as VP and 4 as President). For those of us who lined up for hours on college campuses to vote the Reagan/Bush ticket in 1980, the museum is a perfect memory. Well done! Highly recommended! Be sure to take the time to walk through the rose garden to the resting places of President and Mrs. Bush - it was nice to see that Robin was with them.

very nice. Museum of the life of George and Barbara Bush. Complete well thought out story from their parents childhood through each of their lives of public service not only in politics but even after retirement and continued public service. Outside were some gorgeous water features and a nice walk in the woods to visit their graves which are on the property.

Do not be mislead! The $10.00 charge only covers an immigration section with some paintings by Bush. There is no sign or other way to tell the customer that the library and museum are closed. When the elderly employees were questioned about a complete scam they shrugged their shoulders. The old man at the temperature screening desk takes himself far too seriously. This was a huge disappointment and a total deception. Don't waste your time or money!

I believe you actually visited the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum in Dallas, and not the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum in College Station, so this review is on the wrong page. I'm sorry you had a bad experience. Due to COVID restrictions, capacity and available exhibits have been greatly reduced. I hope you're willing to try them again when everything is back open again.

There's always something new to see at the Bush Library. The exhibits are rotated on a regular basis and they are diverse enough to keep one's interest. There are also seasonal celebrations held here, such as a massive Easter egg hunt on the grounds. You can see his Limousine up close as well as many interesting FBI artifacts. You can sit in the Presidential chair in a mock up of the Oval Office. President and Barbara Bush are buried on the site along with their daughter Robin and their Springer spaniel Millie.

If you love history and libraries this is the place to go. The compound itself is beautiful with a good sized pond.

If you like to visit Presidential libraries I would recommend this and definitely take the walk out to the burial site for the President and his wife Barbara. They also have their young child (Pauline) buried there between them.

The price is very moderate being $9 per adult $3 per youth. They do offer a discount for seniors and military members ($7 each). The volunteers and employees who work here are very friendly and helpful. Luckily we visited there before the virus hit because I believe they are currently closed because of the epidemic.

The Museum offers a great walk through the life of our 41st President. It offers a lot of exhibits and videos so you can get the full experience of journey to becoming President. Learned a lot visiting this place and even if you don't agree with his politics I think you will enjoy the experience this attraction has to offer. The amount of artifacts on displayed is impressive (over 100,000 artifacts this Library & Museum contain).

Hopefully this place will open up soon so the public can enjoy the life of George H. W. Bush who became our 41st President.
