Self guided tours stop at 4 pm even though they are open until 5. Wish that was posted online. We arrived just after and couldn't go in.

It’s cool, lots of security for obvious reasons. The guards were firm but friendly.
Interesting look at currency through the years. I liked looking at the old notes.
No photos allowed inside. Btw there are cameras everywhere! You’ll need to show your ID to get in. Free shredded notes in a bag if you want it.

It's pretty well done but really nothing that wows you, we expected more in general. Not sure it's worth the visit actually. Sorry...

We went on the tour of "The Fed". It was a great tour-informative and fun. Very nice interactive exhibits and the guide, Reginald, was really good. He has a talent for getting everyone involved and having fun all the while we are learning cool stuff. We really enjoyed the tour and Reginald!

I thought the Federal Reserve did a great job setting up a variety of interactive stations and provided a great history lesson on the creation of the Federal Reserve system in America. I loved the entry 3-D bank teller from the 1800’s. The Q and A quiz show was fun and showed us how much we did know! The exhibit on counterfeit money wasn’t working and that was disappointing.
I really enjoyed this tour and it’s format. It takes one to two hours depending on how many videos or programs you interact with. I thought it was an activity, more attractive to older audiences or people with an interest in history and details. It is free and they have sample bags of free cash! (Haha ) I tried to pay for my BBQ lunch at Sammy’s with the bag of money and the cashier did laugh. I wish we had time to visit the Bureau of Printing and Engraving in Ft. Worth.

Lot of information. Although the exhibit is small, you learn a lot, and it is free of charge. And a free bag of shredded money on the way out!

I’m going to start with parking. Even though signs say visitor parking, if you are going to the museum you are NOT classified as a visitor and cannot park in the visitor lot. Visitor means actual bank visitor. I’m including a picture of the parking map security gave us although we didn’t park at any of these. We parked at 2100 McKinney Parking. ( if you park here in order to leave you have to go inside and pay, get a token to “pay” at gate.)
They have very tight security. You will need an ID.
After reading everyone’s reviews we asked for Reginald but he was busy. I was a bit nervous the museum was going to stink after that since everyone raced how great he was. They have done a great job making the entire exhibit interactive and interesting.
It is very educational.
At the end Reginald was able to join us and added some extra info not included in the attraction and we were able to ask questions.
I would highly recommend for all ages.
This is free! And you get a bag of shredded money free as a souvenir too!!!

My husband and I went to see the Federal Reserve on a quick trip to Dallas. We were greeted by Reg and Susan (she was responsible for the exhibit) and before we even got into the exhibit, they were most helpful on answering questions. We could have talked to them all day! The displays were very informative. You can press a button and get more information along with the text on the walls. When we finished, we even got a free sample of money! Unfortunately, it was shredded! Great place to learn. Thanks Reg & Susan! And it’s free!

Self guided tour is about an hour and they only do guide tours on certain days (I think Wednesday).

I don't see why it wouldn't. But everybody has to go through metal detectors. You also have to put your bags in little trays to go through x-ray machine like at the airport.
