Highly recommend! Clint took all the guess work out of trying to find the right wineries to go. The ride was smooth and nice with tidbits of history and wine knowledge shared along the way. The places Clint took us were perfect! He took such good care of us! Definitely interested in doing this again!

We had an amazing day with Cellar Rat Wine tours! When researching the area, we were seeking a more personalized wine tour versus a party bus like experience. That’s how we landed on Cellar Rat. The booking process was super simple, and Cayde was very communicative! We let her know what type of wines and wineries we wanted to visit and she created an itinerary for us to review. On the day of the tour, Clint picked us up and was extremely knowledge of the area and the wine industry. It was the perfect day and way to experience the wineries of Fredericksburg. We absolutely recommend and can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely loved being on the Cellar Rat Wine Tours. Dana was so knowledgeable and helpful, wanting to make sure we had the best possible experience. Worth the price. Super easy with being picked up and dropped off at the start and end of your tour where you'd like.

Absolutely fabulous experience at Cellar Rat! My friends and I did a wine tour with stops at 3 wineries in Fredericksburg. Everything about it was fantastic! The communication before our trip was top notch, they made sure to select wineries with wines for each of our preferences, great lunch options and our tour guide Dana was amazing! She was so kind and knowledgeable about wines and taught us all kinds of things from how to taste, how and why to swirl your glass, why aeration is key and how to avoid getting totally smashed while enjoying lots of wines. Perhaps the best part is that she made us all feel so comfortable even though we were complete novices, never once making us feel awkward for our lack of know how. I would absolutely recommend requesting her on your next tour!

We had a fantastic tour with Clint from Cellar Rat, which was the highlight of our recent trip to Fredericksburg! We had low expectations about the wine industry in Texas going in, but we visited three wineries that proved those expectations wrong. Our tour was small with only one other group, so we had an easy time travelling and were able to ask all of our questions. Clint has experience working in the local wine industry (and makes his own excellent wine, which we tried after the tour) and was very knowledgeable about how wine is made as well as knowing which wineries and tasting rooms were worth a visit near Fredericksburg. We were pleasantly surprised to find great wine so close to home (and bought several bottles along the way) and appreciated the introduction to the area and the wine scene. Clint also had great recommendations about other places to check out while in the area. We would definitely take a tour with Cellar Rat again to find more hidden gems the next time we visit Fredericksburg!

This was our 3rd tour with Cellar Rat and it couldn't have been a better day. They picked us up at the B/B we were staying at even though it didn't fit the criteria for picking up passengers, But since we were the first on this group tour we got to pick the itinerary so we picked wineries that weren't too far from where we were staying, so that all worked out. We had Clint as our guide .He was our guide the 1st time we did a Cellar Rat tour also. Clint was wonderful the whole day. He asked about changing our 2nd pick during our 1st winery to a winery that wasn't even on their list they go to, and we decided that his pick for our 2nd winery would be a wise choice and it was. Our 3rd winery Cadye was able to get us a tasting by asking the owner to come in a little early for us to do a tasting there. The lunch after our 1st tasting was fantastic also. You can't go wrong with Cellar Rat tours.

Chris at Cellar Rat Wine Tours was an incredible host and had everything covered from start to finish. It was so easy to schedule and plan the trip in advance through their site and great email communications leading up to the day of. On the day of Chris was prompt, had us on time or early to every tour, even adding one in the middle where we had a little time!! He had ice cold water, brought lunch to the winery, had cookies and chips for the last stop and was a very knowledgeable host! 5 stars, 10/10, 100% recommend Chris and cruise Rat Wine Tours! Only the very best wineries and very best guides!

I enjoyed having transportation to all the wineries and that reservations to the wineries were already taken care of. What I did not like was that one of the stops on our private tour (at Cellar Rat’s suggestion) was Garrison Brothers Distillery and all we did was have a drink while sitting at a picnic table! The Cellar Rat website advertises the distillery as a place they like to visit for the interactive tour that takes you through the entire production process. That was the whole reason for listening to the suggestion and including it as one of our stops! So I don’t know where the disconnect was between our tour guide and the distillery but my group did not get the tour we asked for nor could we do a tour as there was already a tour group going through at the time we were visiting. Cellar Rat private tours are pricey and I do not feel I received what I asked for.

Rats. It sounds like we really dropped the ball here. We are so sorry for the miscommunication and lack of setting the proper expectations for the distillery visit. No excuses, that's just on us. We have updated our website page as well. If you come back to our area, let us make it up to you with some bottles of wine.

This is my 2nd tour with Cellar Rat Wine tours and it was 10/10. Clint and Chris are awesome tour guides and took care of everything so we could enjoy our tour with no worries. Cadye is the best at helping schedule your tour and will help answer any questions you may have. I can’t say enough good things! Highly recommend!
