Went here with my friends and had a blast! Don't worry if you've never been wakeboarding, there's a beginner area to get started!

Took a group of 50 + athletes ( Varsity and Jv swimmers and divers) as a team building trip to Wake Nation. Made reservations 6 weeks in advance with owner Micheal. He was great in handling the paperwork and prepayment and getting us group deals for the ropes course and other activities. We all arrived at nine and there were 2 staff members checking us in and verifying waivers. It was a bit a bit slow because of one register and checking of paperwork. Once we were all payed up and checked in things came together quickly. We had 3 time slots for the ropes course and paintball course. Some went wake boarding and then there was group on the water obstacle course. All kids were doing something at all times. We had a large pavilion and used their BBQ grill to cook up a hotdog lunch. In all, it was a great trip and we luckily the weather held off till just the end of the trip. There was lighting in area and the courses had to be closed. Our kids had a blast and the hopefully will return. The ropes course is challenging for teenagers. Lots of thinking going on up there. The wake boarding course looked like alot of fun. And the paintball course was a great hit with the kids. The water course was something to where the kids could cool off and have some relax time. The pavilion had large picnic tables and chairs to relax at in the shade. Snacks and drink inside to buy also. All equipment needed is at the park or you could bring some of it if you had it. This was a perfect last minute decision! The staff was wonderful! My husband said it was comparable to skiing. Towards the end, I started to get a hang of it. I didn't make it to the full course but the other two I was with did. A bit pricey at about $65 for two hours, but totally worth it!

Three of us visited this park today and were very impressed with the entire set up. Obstacles are all great and suit all levels. However, before hitting the park we were politely informed that they could slow the cable down for my mum, a full cable beginner, as it was very quiet. This did not happen despite being the only customers using the park. This was due to the female member of staff, whom said they could slow the cable down when we arrived, going out for a ride on the cable. We do not mind staff riding, as 2 of us have worked a cable park before and enjoyed the free riding slots, but not when customers are using the park. Despite this, it was a great afternoon on the park and great way to end our Road trip.

Came here with a group of more than 30 co-workers for a company event. We did the Aerial Ropes Course and the AquaGlide. Next time we'll add the wake boarding!
Everyone had such a great time! There was something that everyone could enjoy, and Michael went above and beyond to make sure our event was a success.
Absolutely recommend!

My 2 boys (7&8) and I went early eve on a Wednesday afternoon initially to do the ropes course and the water bounce house/trampoline. We made reservations and paid for both ahead of time and completed the waivers. When I booked the evening before, I was unable to make wake boarding reservations as the date we were planning to be there was not an available option. When we arrived they said it was and didn't know what the issue was with the online system. I would suggest calling. Anyway, we talked with the friendly staff and we paid to wakeboard. I explained their ages, said they'd never wake boarded and they said it would be no problem. We went to the beginner line and waited20 mins for their turn. There's someone at the start line who talks you through it, but it's just not enough for a young beginner at all. My 8 year old had to be towed back in after 10 mins of trying to get up. My 7 year old had to be 'rescued' in the middle because he couldn't even figure it out enough from the brief on dock instructions and the person on the dock yelling to him what to do. Finally, she had to dive in and swim to him after 15 mins of him flailing around and screaming in frustration. They have life jackets on so there's no fear of drowning, but while the one on-dock staffer is working with my beginners everybody else is in line behind waiting and the line grew. There needs to be a better set up for beginners. Currently, they're just not equipped to help young beginners - not in terms of instruction and/or making it a fun experience. They say 6+ but unless the kid already has experience wakeboarding they just will not learn it here. Plus, mine both said the board was simply too heavy for them to adjust as they are being instructed from the dock. So I paid $90 for 2 kids to try and fail and get frustrated with each going 'out' once - 15 mins each. The ropes course was fun and empty. Our guide Thomas was really friendly. The water features are small. I dropped about $150 there for 2 hours. Until my kids are older it's just not worth the money.

It is a really nice place and we had a great visit. We went for the beginners wakeboarding session on Saturday AM from 9 - 11. Fair price and included the rental equipment. Staff was incredible - especially at the launching area to instruct and correct the beginners. It was not very crowded so wait times were fair.

Not too difficult, very friendly staff, really fun afternoon/evening thing to do. We just spent an hour on the ropes/adventure course. It's made really well with swings and picnic style seating at the top!

We we attended Wake Nation for a day with my son, a friend (both 12) and our daughter (8). The kids were wakeboarding and had a blast. The staff was enthusiastic, young, encouraging, and helpful. We spent 4 hours but could certainly have stayed longer.
**If you are new to the main/intermediate cable, stay close to the buoy as you go around the corners. This will lessen the chance of slack in your line.**
**If you fall before or at the first turn, do NOT walk back in the grass--there are tons of stickers. Just walk along the shoreline, in the water. On the other side, if you go up the stairs, there's a cement path and the small grass area that you will cross was sticker-free.**
~To save time, fill out your waiver online before coming.
~No alcohol.
~Picnic areas and shade available. ~Spectators do NOT have to pay a fee.
Drones fly around and capture shots and video throughout the day. This is particularly fun to look at the day after your visit. I believe purchase of the photos is quite reasonable.

They have added several new things to do in the last year. Paintball, and a course that looks fun but it is suspended. They of course have the water sports as well. Season Passes during the summer are a good way to keep the kids from getting restless while having fun.
