McClane Stadium is a beautiful stadium that is easy to get around to the different BU shops and concessions. We like to sit in a different section and we haven't found a bad seat yet (unless you're in that Texas sun, of course!) Beautiful views of the Brazos, too.

McLane Stadium is a great place for football. However, it can be really hot in September for a day game and the seat is on the sunny side. There is not a bad seat in McLane to watch a game. I wish that there were a few healthy items at the concessions. They have done a great job with fasti W-Fi.

Every seat is a great seat! I was So worried when the only tickets left where at the top back. I was surprised! We could see everything and it really wasn't that far from the field. Had good shade on a hot day. Lots of food choices made it easy Pickens for everyone. Looking forward to the next game we get to make.

We visited Waco in February and visited McLane Stadium while we were there. Not for the usual football game experience...this time we went to play TopGolf! They are building a TopGolf facility in Waco and it is not yet open, but the TopGolf people are touring the country bringing the TopGolf experience to stadiums. They came to McLane Stadium on February 26-28, 2021 and we had a great time!
We played for an hour with three of us and three other people grouped together in one bay. There were about 18-24 bays set up. The field was covered with six targets and their game software gave you points for getting close to each target, and more if you actually hit the targets. The further away targets were worth more points but it varied if you just got close to the target with out hitting it.
We had a great time and this was the first time we had an adult beverage inside the stadium as it is dry when hosting Baylor events with the exception of the Baylor club, which is only open to members and is run separately from Baylor University.
It was a great time, albeit a little expensive!

We were thrilled to get back to McLane stadium for the first Baylor football game since the COVID pandemic started and only the second sporting event of any kind on the Baylor campus since March 2020.
McLane Stadium was limited to 25% capacity- about 11,000 fans. Seating was arranged for social distancing and with the small crowd, the concourses were not crowded. Three were many measures designed to keep people safe and minimize risk of spreading the virus.
The stadium was beautiful as ever and was a great spot to watch the game while the sun set!

As if the stadium itself were not enough, they had the planning skill to build a pedestrian bridge that allows foot traffic to walk over from the campus and a boat dock for boats to park as well. I can't tell you how glad I was to go back to Baylor as an alumnus (class of 98) and see this stadium in person for the first time! Awesomeness!

Beautiful structure. Really pleasant to stroll around as the sun goes down, and it begins to cool off from a hot summer day. Nice view of the Brazos River, and after dark the bridge on I 35 is lit up with a variety of colors.

What a beautiful Stadium. I like the name of it as well: "McLane Stadium."
I like that it is all round. People can see it from the road and it is gorgeous!
Next time I hope to see in a competition.

Only thing missing was beer! Understand it's a college stadium but when it's only 32 degrees and you're sitting there, beer warms you up.

If you have small kids consider getting tickets in the grass in the South End Zone. Kids can play as you sit in the grass and watch the game. Bring a blanket if you wish. There is a concession stand close by. Not recommended for big games such as Oklahoma or Texas as the area is pretty full.

Don’t have a boat? Rent one. Some local boat rental companies, such as Sunset Watercraft Rentals, rent out boats on game days. This is a great solution for those who want to sailgate just a game or two with a group of friends. Or if you’re looking for something simpler, companies like Waco Paddle Company (launching from the Franklin Avenue bridge behind the food trucks) and Pura Vida Paddle (launching from Buzzard Billy’s) rent out canoes, standing paddleboards and kayaks. (Note that while Baylor’s Pullin Family Marina normally allows Baylor students and employees to check out such items, it is closed on game days so that their student-employees can enjoy the day, too.)

The Magnolia Market is a popular location and when in the Waco, Texas area you should definitely visit the Silos located at: 601 WEBSTER AVE WACO TX 76706 (254) 235-0603. There is a lot of parking at about $10.00 per car with proceeds going to the church across the street as the parking lot belongs to them. You can contact the phone # above to inquire directly with someone at the Magnolia Market. I will caution you if you intend to visit the Silos Magnolia Market plan to get there early or catch a place and wait in line. The line gets rather long and the wait time can be ???? so have fun and good luck!
