We're going for the third year in a row with Nigel and his Vita Bel. Again a great day, this time we booked from 10am to 9pm, so it was “chilling pure” without the worry of having to disembark far too quickly. Nigel is the perfect host, friendly, eloquent, withdrawn and a full professional in terms of responding to the wishes of guests and handling the boat. After a lunch in a bay with wine, beer (and of course all other drinks) a lunch nap on the deck, pure holiday. Drink and food supply just top, no wish remains unfulfilled, even the food for vegans can be booked in advance and is perfect. On. Highlight: The barbecue at sunset with outdoor barbecue on the railing. Yes, it’s not entirely cheap to book this experience, but every cent is well invested.

Yet again Vita Bel did not disappoint. Our fourth trip to date. Live like a millionaire for a day. Get away from the beach and experience the beauty of Majorca's east coast. Amazing clear waters for snorkelling. Great food and drink. Sheer escapism and relaxation. Especially delighted that we actually got to do some sailing in a quite strong wind. Exhilarating!! Many thanks to Nigel and crew for a great day.

A wonderful and highly recommended shared charter on which we had amazing fun sailing, swimming and paddle boarding in stunningly lovely and quiet calas ( Mitjana and Sa Nau) away from all the crowds and being totally spoilt onboard. Lovely group of fellow guests plus great friendly, professional and funny crew in the form of skipper Nigel and first mate François. Unlimited top quality cava and wines and a lovely and huge buffet spread. Nigel was also great in rearranging our day charter due to rain all day, so instead of it being 10-3 as planned, we set sail at 4.30 and returned at 9.30, during which time the sun had come out again! Yay! Vita Bel is also a beautiful classic wooden yacht -highly recommended day out!

We had an amazing time on our sundowner dinner cruise. We stayed in a small Cala and enjoyed a good swim while Nigel and Francis were preparing the very delicious dinner! Best part was the way back home under a sky full of stars. We will definitely be back!!

I had an amazing time on the Vita Bell sailing trip in Calla D'Or, Mallorca! With just 10 people on board, the boat had the perfect amount of space, and the atmosphere was friendly, fun, and super relaxed. Nigel, our captain, was so personable and engaging, while Françoise, his assistant, was incredibly kind and helpful.
We kicked things off with a glass of cava and had access to drinks throughout the journey. Lunch was fantastic—fresh prawns, bread, and delicious aioli. Nigel expertly guided us to some quiet, hidden coves (which I’ll keep a secret!) for swimming, adding to the magic of the day. There were floats and paddle board for you try out too.
The whole experience felt very luxury (in comparison to some other boat trips we'd seen) and was the highlight of my trip, and we were even lucky with the weather. I could have easily spent a full day on that boat! Highly recommend!

We liked the idea of a day's sailing on the Vita Bel, as we were a couple and Captain Nigel was offering a mixed charter for up to 10 people. We had a chat with Nigel a few days before and he advised us on booking, which was clear and straightforward. The list of things to bring was helpful and uncomplicated. On the day we 'shipped' up and joined the rest of the group, and quickly became acquainted. The instructions were clear and concise, and we were soon on our way, sailing from the marina at Cala d'Or. The sky was blue, the sea calm and the wind light. We sailed around the coast, watching dolphins at play as we went, to a cove where we moored and swam from the boat - a delightful experience on a very warm day! After our swim we sailed to another cove for more swimming, following which we were treated to an excellent, tasty lunch provided in the price, with beer or wine to quaff! We relaxed on deck as we sailed back to port having experienced a perfect day out. Thank you Nigel and Francois.

An absolutely amazing experience. Did not feel touristy at all, our captain and first mate were great at their jobs. We felt like we had known them our whole lives! Truly a one of a kind experience. So clean and amazing food. Would hire in the future to private charter as well!!

Sailing with Vita Bel and Captain Nigel Lewis was an unforgettable experience. Captain Nigel is known for his charming humor and well-cooked food, and he certainly lived up to his reputation. We sailed to some of the most beautiful calas, each one more stunning than the last. Along the way, we met great people and enjoyed every minute of the journey. It was quite an experience – one that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable adventure on the water.

Min mann og jeg er to relativt spreke pensjonister. Vi er i Cala d'Or fra fredag 12.05. til 19.05.2017. Er det noe kjekt på programmet denne uken?

Hello! My friend and I are both interested in booking the 5 hr shared excursion during the first week of October, but we were wondering if it’s possible to partner us with a similar age group (no children please). Also what is your policy in case of bad weather?

The groups are not big, you could call them and ask for the right tour to meet persons of your age. Vita Bel will not sail when bad weather is. Your tickets stay valid. So don’t wait until last day.

Sometimes when sailing the boat leans to the side and could be scary for parents with children and the children. I did not see life jackets, but he could have them down in the bottom. I would not take my children under the are of 14. I would read other reviews to see if anyone has taken children. When my 22 year daughter and I took the 5 hour trip, we swam a lot and there was two other couples with us, no children.

What is the cost per person please? We are two adults and a 15 year old boy who in the size of an adult also. We arrive in Cala d'or on the 30th of july and stay of a week, should we book a trip in advance?

The 6 hour sunset sail with dinner is 140€ per person. I would email them to book in advance. It was the highlight of our time in Mallorca!

it is about £130 / person and a truly excellent day. The Captain, Nigel, is really good guy. Across from the boat there is a row of shops and bars ... go to the fashion boutique and ask for Sonia. I THINK you can also book on their website ... hope you enjoy your day and the food is really amazing ... note their cleanliness ... they wear rubber gloves when serving the food!!! Andrew

Yes we sailed from cala d‘or. You can enter the port and Park at Amy place withou an „R“. Nearby the boat is a Lounge bar. Directly beside Sonias Designer boutique. (She is Nigels partner).
