We walked here from our house in Southgate on Christmas Day toget some fresh air while the sun was shining!

It is a lovely park and forest. But if I didn't have my mobile with me. I'd properly still be there. I felt that I was in my version of the Blair Witch Project 😠.
Please put more signposts on where the person is. I almost got lost.

I hadn't been back to Trent Park since the building works began, but recently joined their running club and have discovered so much more of the park. The new estate is not too intrusive, there's still miles of footpaths, it's quite easy to get lost.
My rating is for the outdoor space, I haven't tried the toilets or cafe, but it's a jewel, easily reached on foot from Cockfosters or Oakwood, also plenty of parkingI think there is a minibus from Oakwood.
You can also walk from here through Hilly Fields and on to Whitewebbs or Forty Hall, yet more Enfield open spaces.

Fantastic place for a stroll or a picnic, some areas tend to be more crowded than others but its easy to find more secluded paths. There is a lovely lake and nice café to make your experience even better!

We met up with some friends in the park. Both drove and found spaces in the car park to which was great. We all have young kids and they all really enjoyed it. There's plenty of space to run around in. There's a go ape adventure course there. People riding bikes and many family's with dogs and people sitting on benches and the grass. There's a couple of places to grab ice cream too which is nice on a hot day. We took a nice walk along the trees to a small farm area where they have birds, hens, sheep a horse etc which the kids enjoyed. £4 if you're over 4 if i remember correctly. Its a rescue farm and have lots of very interesting and heartwarming information written around about animals and passed loved animals and people. There's also a playground that the kids enjoyed inside there. Its not very big but nice enough to go to and to walk around. For a park though its nice to have these variety of things going on within it. We will be returning again.

I hadn't been here for maybe 15 or 20 years but decided to come for a walk of about 2 hours. We more or less headed around the boundary and covered perhaps 4 to 5 miles. There is an interesting and varied environment from lush woodland, farmers fields and open spaces. I think there is a lake but we didn't reach it. The paths are marked but they could be a few more maps. The toilets are decent. We didn't try the main cafe but found the animal charity cafe which is very basic. We thoroughly enjoyed walking here and it is very convenient for the underground.

I love this park. It is very good for walk, run, cycling.

This is a lovely place to visit with forests, open land and lakes. However, there are dog owners who need to keep their dogs under control and need to realise that having a dog run up to disabled visitors is unsafe and selfish. If a dog doesn’t reply to recall it should be on a lead to prevent them from harassing other visitors.

Luckily we are here on a sunny day. Though autumn the park was very clean and the pathways litter free. Enough information and directions nicely posted. The 2 ponds were full with habitat and colourful ??ducks. Cafe vey good. Car park was well placed and convenient.

Hi, We live in Edgware and have often been told to try out walking our dog in Trent Park. Can you tell me the best car park to use that's closest to one of the park cafes with lots of grass for our cockerpoo to run around on...?

Is there anyway you can watch the sunrise in Trent park. It looks like a lovely place to do that but I see that the park doesn't open until 8 am ?

Hey, this park is indeed lovely; I, like others am not sure if it is allowable but entrances along Hadley Road do give easy access for pedestrians. In addition, Hadley road, which runs along one side of it (up the hill from the West Lodge Hotel), does have parking spaces and public footpaths across fields; I am sure you would be able to catch a lovely sunrise from these places too.

You can take more than 100 as it is massive. You have 2 open fields on the main avenue where you are near the cafes plus more fields beyond. There are woods too. No barbecues allowed though and please ensure rubbish is taken away. The bins get full and people dump their rubbish on the sides and it is so unecessary. Al you need are a load of black plastic bin bags and put them in car.
Sorry for lecture but it is a wonderful huge park and i hate irresponsible people. Enjoy.

Yes you can bring your dog's & let them off the lead so long as they are well behaved, there is however a restriction that should you go to the café area they should be then put on a lead!
