Yering Meadows Golf Club is a prime 27-hole course in Melbourne's eastern suburbs. The course, spread over 330 acres (135 ha). was designed by Ross Watson The architect has designed the course so that every one of the 18 hole layouts has a different character, The greens can be challenging. The water hazards are an integral part of the course. The Terrace Cafe and Restaurant is open to members and visitors. The Members' Lounge is available for snacks.Yering Meadows is open to visitors and members. Yering Meadows is adjacent to the Yarra Valley vineyards and other attractions.

The Yering Meadows Golf Club is in Melbourne's Easter Suburbs. It was established in 1925. The course is now spread over 330 acres of the Yarra Valley plain.. Public players are welcome, but they must adhere to a strict dress code.

Yering Meadows has the reputatiton for being the best golf course in Melbourne's eastern suburbs. It was established as the Croydon Gold Club in 1925. The club has easy access to the scenic Yarra Valley and its wineries. The club layout designed by Ross Watson, has 27 holes over 330 acres. The course has a number of water hazards and wetlands that add to the interest for players. The clubhouse has the reputation for serving a good meal and drinks after your round. By the way, Yering Meadows has reciprocal arrangements with af Australian and overseas clubs. It also allows public bookings.

Stunning views, staff very helpful and the place is great to walk around. Food and coffee was excellent as well!

Such a beautiful outlook with fabulous views over the Yarra Valley. The menu promises lovely food, but sadly this was far from what we got. I am not sure if the restaurant was having a bad day of if the chef/cook was away. There was 1 large table of ladies who were eating, another table of 8, 2 tables of 2 and our table of 6. It wasn't a busy day. There was 1 waitress and 2 bar staff. Most people were eating by the time we arrived.We were seated for more than 20/30 minutes and I had just got up to inquire whether it was table service or should we order at the bar, when the waitress walked over to take orders.
When asked for a drinks menu, she mentioned something about a change to the menu, and there wasn't a menu. I had to ask several questions - I didn't know whether I wanted a Gris or a Pinot - where was it from, was it local etc... I really didn't get much of a idea. Anyway drink orders were taken as well as meal orders. After waiting another 30 minutes, my husband went to the bar to inquire about the drinks. At this very same time our meals started arriving minus the drinks. Soon it was obvious that there was a problem and we then had all 3 staff bringing our food and drinks.
3 of our group ordered the sirloin steak with side of veggies and Caesar Salad ( which had a fried egg on top - shouldn't it be poached?) . The steaks looked like they had been placed on a grill that was too cold and looked stewed. There was a runny sauce on the bottom of the sweet potato was was flavourless. I ordered the atlantic salmon with asian stir fry. My veggies looked like they too were steamed. There was absolutely no asian flavours, however I did have bean shoots and baby corn. The fish too looked stewed, I don't think it was cooked on a grill. The cheesy mac dish and the calamari dish were okay, but still lacked flavour. Overall it was a very average experience and the Charlotte dessert was 3 people ordered was equally dull. I would be horrified if I served these bland tasting meals in my home kitchen. By the way no one came back to take further drink orders or offer coffee or tea. Im pretty sure we wont be returning to this venue.

Last Sunday we went here for breakfast, because of the bad weather we were the only ones there, but it was still welcoming and cosy; the gas fire was on always making a place friendly. My husband had the big breakfast and I had avocado smash with goats cheese, it was delicious.

We dropped in on the off chance as It was my sisters birthday. Wow, we had a superb meal, reasonably priced in a relaxing and happy atmosphere and gorgeous views.
Great value for money for both mains and deserts. They offer a Seniors menu with portion sizes a little smaller, but still from the main menu with desert.The menu is not too big and has a good variety of dishes on it.
The staff were lovely and friendly. Thank you my sister had a lovely birthday lunch which she thoroughly enjoyed.
As its not too far from home we will happily return and happy to recommend this place

Today we visited Yerling Meadows Golf Club for lunch with a seniors group. What a fantastic venue! The food, the staff, the venue everything was fabulous. Not one complaint out of seventeen people! One of our seniors said “It is nice not to be treated like a old person!”
We will certainly be putting this on our list of great places to go with all our groups. Great value for money.Good menu choices too.
