We stayed in a cabin on the park for a couple of nights. Cabin is simple - information provided is clear that there are beds, a table and chairs, and electricity. No bed linen, towels provided and no bathroom in the cabin.
The shared toilets were nearby and kept clean. The two showers on site were down near the beach in the main bathroom block.
Lovely views, peaceful location. Great views of Seattle and Mount Rainier.

What a pretty park! This was a sunny day and we had great views of Seattle, Mt. Rainier, and even a peek at Mt. Baker. Nice restrooms, children’s play areas, and picnic spots.

In my opinion this is the best park and beach on Bainbridge. Stunning views of Seattle and the mainland, fun play area for kids, bbq's, excellent camping spots and a handful of cabins. You can launch kayaks also with a bit of effort. Walk down the sandpit nearby and check out the beach homes. Just a lovely place to spend and hour or day. Camping spots sell out, make a reservation.

We had a delightful walk on the beach, and spotted a seal. Vista is all the way to Seattle. Lots of benches and play park. Lovely visit.

This was my favorite campground on our trip around the Olympic Peninsula and islands! Yes, we were here in the off-season, so there was hardly anyone there. It was quite peaceful. The sites are level, and they have views of the beach. We had a campervan, and it was convenient to have electric hookups. The bathroom is easily accessible from all sites. It was not the cleanest, but I'm not sure how well staffed the campground is off-season. There IS a resident manager, but we only saw them when they came to make sure we'd paid. The beach is wonderul. The views across the sound are spectacular. It was fun to climb amongst all the driftwood, and if you have kids there is a really nice playgrouand. This would be a terrific spot to bring a Girl Scout troop , or other youth group to go camping. Just lovely.

Been coming here since I was a kid. On a nice clear day, standing on the beach, you can see the Cascade and Olympic mountain ranges.

This is a nice park, especially if you have kids, but the campsites (both tent and RV) are all way too close with no privacy at all. We actually showed up excited about having some sort of getaway after being cooped up during the pandemic for months, but as soon as we saw the site, immediately knew we wouldn't enjoy ourselves and left. I found this set up particularly interesting given the continued distancing and mask protocols.
If you don't mind a communal-type situation (e.g., you have a group who can take up 6 tent sites), it's fine. But my husband and I prefer some privacy so that we can listen to our music, play guitar and talk without feeling like we're bothering our fellow campers. Alternatively, we don't really want to hear others around us either.
Had we been lucky enough to have site 39 or 40, we might have stayed as they had the most privacy. I didn't book either of those because the description on the website states "On exit so there is less privacy than other spots." Trust me, there is far more privacy on both of these sites than 27-35.

Faye Bainbridge Park is a fantastic place for a fun day trip or overnight camping. The view of Seattle and the Cascade Mountains is unparalleled! The RV spots are very nice and level as are the camping/tent spots. Note: There aren't sewer dumps at each site and the sewer dump at the entrance/exit of the park is not in service at this time. There's lots to do, like beachcombing, horseshoes, volleyball or badminton and whatever else you feel like doing. The fire pits are nice and large at the RV and camp sites. I highly recommend this park for everyone.

The beach is littered with driftwood, not the small items, but the very large items that have washed ashore from storms. We really enjoyed a 2 mile walk and recommend it for anyone.

Found this Park just driving the island. Sat on a bench and listened to the shore sounds, boats, and birds. A very restful place.

How far is the park from the Bainbridge ferry terminal? Would it be difficult to get a taxi to go to and from the park to the ferry terminal?

The park is about 5-6 miles from the ferry dock but taxis aren't always waiting at the ferry. There's a couple of Ubers on the island, but again, not always available. Just call ahead for a cab (Google the various cab companies) and they'll be waiting for you when you get to the island.

My favorite sites are #1 and 2. They are closer to to beach and even though they are open (no real trees) they are out of the traffic and a bit more quiet.
