Excellent place to visit with your kids.They will explain you each and every step on how the tea is processed.Staffs are very friendly.Dont forget to try the free sample of tea.

Excellent, quick stop while in Kandy. Clear speaking guide, up close to tea process and beautiful shop to browse and learn more about the tea process

We didn't pick this place ourselves - our driver did - but we ended up enjoying the experience! It's a working tea factory, and you see exactly how the tea is made, step by step. There's also a little tea tasting and an option to purchase gifts. The prices for the gifts were a bit lower than prices we saw in Colombo (or at Colombo airport, which had the highest prices). We were glad we stopped!

If you are limited to Kandy road and want to get the insights and experience on how Ceylon Tea is made this is the place to go. Exceptional service and superb quality products. Whenever we need the tea experience while on tour and if we do not go up the mountains beyond Kandy this is where I always lead my tour groups to. The one drawback would be that there is no tea plantation in the immediate vicinity, but then again if you are on the Kandy road the limited option you may have, that again on a detour are not that impressive anyway. (Of course you could walk up to the small model tea patch they painstakingly maintain just behind the factory may be the sensible way to go)

Don't miss this tea factory when you visit Kandy. It was a very knowledgeable guide that took me on tour of the factory and she was passionate about tea and tea business. The guide explained the process of tea making in an understandable way and was very kind to answer all my curious questions. After the tour, I was lead up to the upper floor where I got to taste two fine tea products from the factory. Really great experience!

Gita all'interno della caldissima fabbrica di tea! Si può vedere tutto il procedimento per la produzione del tea, fino al prodotto finito. In omaggio una tazza di tea.

I have visited this tea factory with my guest and really wonderful warm welcome by team members and there very presentable. After that there show us proses of Ceylon tea. Well knowledgeable team and best experince. After round visit at tea factory there treat us with some different tea for taste. Wonderful place and very clean best quality. The shop is great and lots of products available there. Highly recommended this place and keep it up your good work. Looking forward to visit you guys soon.

Able to taste the different teas and were explained to us. The staff were not pushy unlike Store-field tea factory. The price of tea was also very reasonable. Not a tourist trap. Would definitely recommend

Being a big admirer or all things tea, I found this to be very interesting and educational. We were taken through the factory and shown the tea drying process followed by a pot of tea at the tea shop. We did purchased the Assortment Tea book which was packed and sealed so we couldn't check if it was broken when purchased. Upon arriving home and excited to have a cup of Ceylon Orange Pekoe, the tea book came apart. Nevertheless the tea was delicious and it was very interesting to learn about the tea drying process

On our way to Kandy stopped to visit this tea factory, interesting facts and information about tea, just assuming that once tea leaves are collected and crushed and packaged is not even close.It was a good visit saw all the process and got explanations about the different qualities and types of teas. At the end you get to sample some good teas and if interested shop for many varieties and qualities
