For $14, visit and relive a piece of American beer history, which also includes a nice cool smooth pint of Pabst Blue Ribbon. The first 20 minutes of the 1 hour tour takes you inside the main beer hall, where you're treating to one of the more interesting Power point presentations ever, with a very enthusiastic tour guide, also drinking PBR with you, whom gives a fun and informative walk down memory lane about all history and details of Pabst. Pay attention, answer a quiz question correctly, and you can win an additional pint of PBR. You'll walk through some hallways, stairwells, see the main ballroom and the original office of the founder Jacob Best and ultimately Captain Pabst. It's a fun historical tour for beer lovers and history nerds like myself. Not so much fun if you're not a beer drinker.

Highly recommend stopping by for the tour and beer. Lots of history shared by an excellent guide. Although this is not currently a brewery, you will not be disappointed. Well worth the money. Also, they rent it out for weddings and parties. I'm sure that would be cool.

We were pleasantly surprised about this tour! Scott was a great historian, providing architectural, cultural and historical context to the founding of Pabst! Loved that we wiped PBR as we learned!

Scott gave a wonderful tour of the beautiful history Pabst brewery. Beer included and available along the tour. Lots of gorgeous architecture and courtyards. Don't miss it!

We had several hours to kill prior to a wedding at the brewery and decided last minute to take this tour. We are so glad that we did! This tour had such great history and stories of the Pabst Brewing Company. Our tour guide, Scott, was so good with a great sense of humor.

Staff was helpful, friendly and welcoming. Hotel suite was spacious, clean, and a great surprise. Valet parking was a bonus. Other than the Pabst brewery and a few microbrews, it isn't within walking distance (in January) to much. But rideshare cars were super easy to get and pretty inexpensive for being in the city.

If you're in Milwaukee and you want some history about Milwaukee Breweries. Check this out and take the tour. It's well worth it.

This is not your typical beer-making tour. It’s a tour of the history of Pabst beer and the Best family. Our guide, Mark, was very interesting, informative and fun. Starting in the large room similar to a German beer hall, old commercials were played while you enjoyed a beer until the tour started. Very nostalgic. We saw additional areas that have been renovated but still contain antiques and memories of the past. The current owner was on site while we were there. Gift shop contained lots of memorabilia. It’s a great place and a must see while in Milwaukee.

Such an awesome place. The tour guide made it worth the trip. He was a kick. The building is absolutely beautiful. Be sure to enjoy a PBR!

One of the best brewery tours I've been on. It's not a traditional tour in which you get the "this is how barley and yeast and malt and water come together." This tells you about the history of beer in Milwaukee and how Pabst Brewery fits in. The tour encompasses several of the many buildings (as there are still renovations going on), and gives you a sense of what it was like back in the day. What I specifically appreciated was Scott's (longtime friend of the current owner) sharing of the more recent history of the place, especially how his friend bought and began renovations of the complex. I specifically appreciated his opinions of various events, a departure from the often sanitized versions so often given. I don't have to agree, but I appreciate the point of view of a person who was there (nb: I did agree).
Pair this tour with the Pabst Mansion to get a solid understanding of the role and importance of this family and company to the city of Milwaukee and beyond.
