Do not buy your gear from this store. I have not bren told that there s a smaller version of Oceanic brand goggle. Manager Kevin confirmed that Maui Dive shop do not carry a variety of goggles. I am stuck with Oceanic Shadow goggle with water filling in all the way. I wish the sales person told me about their lack of inventory. I have been offered by Manager Kevin to exchange the goggle to a small size from their rental inventory which has been used many times. Shady business practice! Even one star is way too much for this business!

I hate not giving this operation the 5 star review they deserve. Great shop! Great staff (almost). Great experience! Mika was a wonderful guide and the dives were amazing experiences. Everything I expected for my trip to Hawaii... but...
I use my own gear and am used to setting up and breaking down my own set-up. At the end of the second dive after I broke everything down and we are waiting for transportation, all the divers had the wetsuits set aside. Everyone in full suits: I wear a shorty. When transportation arrives, we are told "don't worry about your gear, we'll take care of it!" Great! Just what you'd expect to hear from a great dive operation... so I get in the van and relax.
Then, back at the shop: no shorty. anywhere. (and it wasn't left behind because I looked before we left the site.)
Maybe the other guide has it as he was in a separate vehicle. "We'll check with him and call you." crickets. for 2 days.
Now.... it's honestly not the loss of a shorty... those are easily replaced for 100 bucks... It's the complete and total lack of concern and acceptance of responsibility that followed... after repeated texts to get an update.... only to receive a response that might have well said "too bad, so sad. we don't have it."
I probably wouldn't have even written this review if it weren't for the "go away" attitude.
Bottom line: If you're going to say "I'll take care of it", then take care of it. And it's OK to say "Wow... we honestly don't know what happened, Mr. May, but we're really sorry."
If it's sincere, that goes a long way with your customers.

Did two great shore dives with DM Simon and had a great time. Went to Honolua Bay and Mala Pier. Both were fun dives, but the Mala Pier is outstanding. White tipped reef sharks and more turtles you can count are just a few of the awesome sites you'll see here. Simon took very good care of us and pointed out many things I would have missed. This was my first dive trip since my certification and was apprehensive, but Simon made it easy. He took great care of us. Sign up for dives with Maui Diving and you'll have a blast.

We had an amazing dive at Mala Pier with Maui Diving instructor Deborah! She was super clear in her instructions, really nice and curated a super fun experience! She even took amazing photos for us since we forgot our go pro.

This shop seems to be a real Bus Station of instructors/students. Do not recommend unless you like to be treated like Cattle. More of a retail shop for novice Divers. Serious Divers may want to look someplace els.

Good two shallow dives. Briefing and rental equipment was good. It was great that non-divers could follow us for both dives. Friendly staff in the office. I loved to see many turtles and some sharks.

Did my Open Water Certification here and Deborah was the best instructor I could have asked for. She is patient, funny, highly competent, and passionate. The dive shop itself is really cool too - great selection of equipment and a knowledgeable and friendly staff.

Hi! My husband and I have never tried scuba diving before but we would like to try it at Molokini. Is it possible or do we need to take introductory lessons first?

There are no intro dives allowed at Molokini per Maui rules. The best anyone can do for you is a snorkel at Molokini and an intro dive at Turtle Town. You have to be a certified diver to dive Molokini. Instead of the pool I recommend doing an intro dive right off the shores. It’s just as good as far as what you see. And you get the security of entering from the shore like a pool.

All of yours can accommodate you. My favorite at the shore dives because that is where the best snorkeling is. Check out the Mala Plus option under dive packages on our website.

Yes no problem at all! They can tag along and snorkel from any of the shore dive sites for free or if you take a boat the snorkel tickets usually run about $85.

Hi....I'll be in town for a girls trip, in September as a solo diver but my friend is interested in snorkeling....does your dive shop offer both diving & snorkeling on the same boat/day?! And could you accommodate me since I'll have no buddy?!

Yes we do boat trips for divers and snorkelers! And you don’t need a buddy as you’ll be in a small group of no more than 6. While this answers your question I would encourage you to look into the Mala Plus Shore dive we have or the Manta/Shark options online. They are Shore dives but you see so much more life right off the shore and we don’t charge for the snorkeler to tag along right with you. They’d just need gear which they can rent from us for $10.

PADI OWD..havent been diving for ~12 years. Do you have a one/part day "refresher course" ? I'm a big guy so prefer 100 cf tank to time out with my wifes 72-80..available ? Cost for refr course ?.. I have my own gear (minus weights).
