Got last minute tickets for the show (30mins before! Ended up second row of balcony)
The setting in the theatre was brilliant.
The show was just amazing. Without any plot spoilers you could clearly feel the emotion at the end from other theatre goers !!
It’s doesn’t totally follow the original but have updated with some new songs etc which were really great.
The music was spot on but it was a shame not to be able to see the musicians in the pit due to the layout but they were brilliant.
The cost of drinks etc is typical for Times Square and everyone was friendly.
The toilet queue at the interval seems crazy so go before you go 😂
The view from second row balcony was great.

This show is brilliant in every way, a fully immersive production of such quality that we (family of 4 with teens) loved every second. The staging, acting, theatre, singing, dancing all incredible.

My wife and I attend several shows every year. We have seen lots of great shows in Ireland, London and New York. This show was definitely in our top 3 shows ever. It was a stunning spectacle with great music, acting and choreography. We absolutely loved it and highly recommend it to other musical theatre fans.

Excellent from start to finish. Faultless and i have seen ALOT of shows. Very clever, amazing costumes, great voices, stage changes and a very clever adaptation of the original story. A jukebox of songs throughout. I could not stop smiling and time flew. The audience were captivated. Totally. The orchestra- wow. And the leads, spot on. WELL DONE! I will need to see it again!

Nice theater. The show was very good and the music was excellent, both live orchestra and the variety of music introduced throughout the show is really good. Nicely done and entertaining. Lots of pretty senoritas

Overall just a great time. Most of the performers were absolutely sensational. I will say that the lead, Satine, just did not have the stage presence/star power of many of the other cast members. She did seem to get more comfortable as the night went on, but I aside from a powerful voice I didn't feel that she brought a lot to the show and in some ways detracted from the bar set by others. The male leads were all outstanding. The dancers were clearly talented, but looked like they could have used a lot more rehearsing to get in synch and feel perform at the level I would expect from a broadway show. And one of the dancers did not seem to give a you know what. She came across as pretty unprofessional and maybe not even trained in dance. Very strange. But the staging was wonderful, the costumes (except weirdly Satine's) were outstanding and the pace of the show esp the first half is exhilarating.

This show is amazing, I’ve honestly never seen anything like it. The theatre, staging, actors, costumes and sound - all fantastic. Without doubt the best musical I’ve ever seen. Can’t recommend it enough

Of the many shows I've seen on Broadway, the West End, and some local and touring productions, this was the worst I've seen—except maybe Matilda.
The problem was not the actors or the theater, which is beautiful, but the music. It’s called a jukebox musical, so you'd expect to hear the popular songs sound sort of like you're used to—think Mamma Mia or Jersey Boys. Instead most songs were not close to the original, and Roxanne, a song which I don't care for to begin with, was so horrible I was embarrassed for the cast. The original songs were not memorable.
Musically, this shows pales in comparison to shows with original and entertaining music, like Hamilton, Wicked, and even The Book of Mormon, etc. If you enjoyed the movie (I haven't seen it), you may like the play. Otherwise, there are tons of better alternatives.

Amazing show! One of the best that I’ve seen on Broadway!! Highly recommend if you love a great musical! The music, dancing, and storyline were fantastic!

Where should I buy a ticket at a reasonable price and what seat should I get?

We purchased our tickets back in March. Due to the positive reviews etc, getting tickets may be expensive. Ticketmaster is the safest vendor for tickets, IMO. The theater is small with really no bad seats except the ones that are right next to the stage.
